Please note, that the tutor for your class has requested that all students wear a mask due to the need for demonstration that may move within the 1.5m social distancing rule. I am offering Art Classes and Art Parties for both children and adults. Also Artistic Corporate team building workshops and other events. From beginners to advanced painters, all students are guided through these traditional folk art methods, offering a progressive learning experience. While beginners grasp the foundational techniques, advanced painters have the opportunity to apply this knowledge to create modern artworks on canvas.
Your experienced teacher will guide you through all the basics of your chosen medium, in an enjoyable and accessible way for everyone. Limelight Studios Gladesville was established in in 2008 offering Art Classes and Workshops for children from Kindergarten to Year 12. Friendly and fun classes are designed to develop art skills and promote an enjoyment of the visual arts and individual expression. Group classes and private tuition are available as well as school holiday workshops. Adult classes, corporate workshops, school and teacher incursions are available on application.

As a child Dana showed great interest in drawing, so beautifully illustrating her books and school projects that teachers often kept them. With a passion for colour and interior decorating, Dana went on to study at the Julian Ashton School of Arts followed by sculpture and colour and design at East Sydney Technical College. Dana was later inspired by art tutor colleagues, whilst employed at Macquarie University. We keep our attendee numbers low, so that each student gets the right attention.

Training in Arakan Martial Art allows me be prepared for situations if they get out of hand. It has helped my fitness and self confidence, by training in a fun and friendly atmosphere with wonderful, encouraging people. Michelle is a talented, knowledgeable, wonderful teacher, I have noticed my child's confidence grow and grow every term as he produces incredible art work every week. We would like to congratulate all the children who entered shows this year and also students who won awards. All teachers are vaccinated and all classrooms are fitted with the latest air purifiers with HEPA filters. We provide a COVID safe workplace, including hand sanitiser on arrival, social distancing, and additional cleaning with disinfectant between lessons. The longstanding collaboration between Vietnam and Australia is enabling opportunities in arts, music, and understanding cultural identities.

And over the course of the term you will develop ways to apply these techniques to a variety of topics. Subjects will vary from term to term, but the tutor will set and demonstrate each subject for you before you paint it yourself. Dana’s Australian landscape work captures a translucent quality with her use of colour, light and harmony, achieved by loading the brush with very thick paint and little medium. Dana draws and paints in oils, acrylics and watercolour, and her subject matter is diversified including both modern and traditional. Dana has won many art awards and first prizes including the Bankstown and Drummoyne Art Societies, the Combined Art Society and Rotary Exhibitions.
