The handle– The handle is crucial to the smooth, safe operation of the knife. It must be able to afford you a firm, non-slip grip in any condition. If at all possible you should get a hold of some different knives and try out different handles before purchasing a hunting knife. Keep in mind too that if a knife has a hollow handle it can’t have a full tang.
