As 20–30% of oral cancer patients have occult cervical lymph node metastasis, how best to manage N0 neck in such patients is a matter of debate. Because accurate diagnosis of any metastasis is difficult despite various kinds of diagnostic imaging being available, sentinel lymph node biopsy using radioisotope has been used in recent years for these patients. However, SLNB using RI cannot be always performed at any institution due to limitations. A novel SLNB without the use of RI is therefore needed for N0 oral cancer patients. This paper reports a case of utilization behavior and dysphagia with damage to the frontal lobes.
