Some places get too busy and then there's so much noise you cannot hear others or youself talk. But while this place is popular and does fill up at meal times, when sitting outside on the balcony it feels so peaceful. The food is a little pricey compared to what you can get everyday for lunch elsewhere but in all honesty the price really matches the excellent quality of the food. An unfamiliar concept to most Australians, a traiteur is one of the most frequented destinations in a French neighbourhood and will no doubt be as beloved in Sydney.
If the time is getting closer to the lunch side of brunch, the chefs also whip up a drool-worthy benedict filled with crispy bacon, avocado, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce all on a homemade rosti. Only steps away from Bondi Beach, Chuck Trailer’s is the new dive bar with a difference bringing a little grunge, a touch of debauchery, and a whole lotta-style to Bondi. Owner Erik draws on his Scandinavian heritage for dishes such as pytt I panna , where a perfectly round fried egg sits on top of sautéed bacon, sausages and tiny potatoes, dressed with olive oil and fresh dill. Sides of house-made pickled cucumber and beetroot help to cut the richness. Solicitous customer service is also part of Oski’s charm.
We have tried many different Indian restaurants, the flavours and mixes of food they use are surprising and awesome. It is not cheap, but something as good as this you do... The Indian food was the best we have had in years and at prices that are very reasonable. The banquet gave us a great range selection of dishes and they were all devoured. We ate at this restaurant previously and because the food was awesome we decided to make a reservation for a birthday lunch. I made a reservation for lunch for a Monday, all Done on their website.
