Luye Highlands 鹿野高台 is the heart of the festival with its rolling green plains offering panoramic views of the central mountain range. Also, the most popular tourist attraction is the natural hot springs. The main part of Taitung is small and compact enough to make walking a pleasant way to explore the city.
