Cusack, Skye, Crowe and executive producer James L. Brooks are set to reunite for a panel discussion following a screening of the movie at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 30 in celebration of the pic's 30th anniversary. Lili Taylor, Loren Dean, Pamela Adlon , Jeremy Piven, Eric Stoltz, Bebe Neuwirth and Chynna Phillips also starred in the film, which was Cameron Crowe's directorial debut. See what 'Say Anything' stars John Cusack, Ione Skye, John Mahoney and more have been up to since the Cameron Crowe-directed film hit theaters on April 14, 1989. Will is an entertainment writer based in Pittsburgh, PA. His writing can also be found in The Playlist, Cut Print Film, We Got This Covered, The Young Folks, Slate and other outlets. He also co-hosts the weekly film/TV podcast Cinemaholics with Jon Negroni and he likes to think he's a professional Garfield enthusiast.

Then, in 2004, he went from being That Guy to The Guy, with his career-making role in the HBO show Entourage. Though he wasn’t the lead, his performance as the foul-mouthed, hyper-aggressive Hollywood agent Ari Gold not only stole the show but kept it alive for seven years. Any scene Ari wasn’t in felt wasted, and Piven deservedly won a Golden Globe and three Emmys in the role. During his eight seasons as a lead performer on Entourage, Jeremy earned a total of at least $15 million. He then earned $2 million to appear in the 2015 Entourage movie, bringing his total earnings from the series to $17 million.
Overall, Jeremy Piven is an award-winning actor who has left an indelible mark on the entertainment industry. He is an inspiration to aspiring actors and a beloved figure among fans, and his contributions to the world of entertainment will undoubtedly be remembered for years to come. It seems like Mark Wahlberg and the rest of the Entourage gang may need to hug it out, as Jeremy Piven is saying he’s the major snag in a potential reboot.

Adlon, credited as Pamela Segall, played Rebecca, one of Lloyd's loyal friends from school. She went on to voice Bobby Hill on King of the Hill from 1997 to 2010, winning a Primetime Emmy for the role in 2002. She also voiced the character of Ashley Spinelli on the animated comedy seriesRecessfrom 1997 to 2003. Adlon's other television credits include the role of Marcy Runkle on Californication and as Pamela on Louie, on which she also worked as a writer and producer. She currently stars as Sam Fox on the FX series Better Things, which she co-created, writes, directs and produces.
Telling him that he stole Entourage, for example, merits a two-seat move and a happy, “Well, thank you.” In this appetite for praise and in his occasional total lack of self-awareness, there is something quite pleasingly David Brent-ish about Piven. In 2004 Jeremy bought a beachfront home in Malibu for $3.5 million. He finally sold the house in February 2019 for $6.6 million.
Over the next decade, Piven's career seemed to be stalled in the comic-sidekick/best-friend slot in such films as The Family Man with Nicolas Cage in 2000 and Serendipity a year later, which reteamed him with Cusack. He also appeared in several box-office hits, including Black Hawk Down and Old School , before producers at HBO's original-series division cast him as a manic, ruthless talent agent in the Hollywood-set comedy Entourage . In the role of Peppers, Seann William Scott had a standout cameo in Old School.

Piven's acerbic comic skills emerged when he played a television writer on the HBO series The Larry Sanders Show . His first starring role came in the college farce PCU in 1994, in which he played a perennial student and natural-born disruptor in the send-up of political correctness on college campuses. He spent Jeremy Piven the rest of the decade in supporting roles in such fare as Miami Rhapsody, Grosse Pointe Blank , and Kiss the Girls . There was also a three-year stint on Ellen DeGeneres' sitcom as her cousin, Spence, out of which Piven was offered his own hour-long series on ABC, Cupid , which debuted in the fall of 1998.
The director credits his awareness of the issue from researching the film with his quick response that got him to the hospital before there was any permanent damage. During an interview on the 347th episode of The Empire Film Podcast, McKay said "Either Christian Bale or Dick Cheney just saved my life." In the role of Frank "The Tank" Ricard, a domesticated man who puts a strain on his recent marriage when he returns to his hard-partying ways, Will Ferrell played a memorable character in 2003's Old School. "The show that started off confident has become indomitable," asserted New York Times writer Virginia Heffernan. "It's a rare week when these four friends don't seem like supporting players in The Ari Gold Show," he declared. Though Piven also spent some summers at a performing-arts camp in Wisconsin, as he grew older his enthusiasm for drama cooled, and he devoted his energies to football.

Amy Meador said she fought Piven off when he pinned her down in her Los Angeles home in 1995. As far as whether or not there’s room for redemption for a Hollywood figure like Piven who’s been accused of sexual assault, Meador thinks it depends on how someone tries to redeem themselves. While the world of entertainment is increasingly opening its arms to Piven, his accusers haven’t forgotten about their past traumas involving the actor.
Other women that he dated before included Vanessa Marcil , Nikki Benz, and Camilla Cleese . Don is taking stock in his life when Ivy questions him about one of his jobs in Albuquerque. He tells her he killed his best friend and team DJ, McDermott , by giving him a bag with sex toys instead of a parachute. Don was more focused on having sex with his customer than selling cars. He then reveals to Ivy that he is falling for her and it is all happening again.
His extensive career in television also includes the satirical Larry Sanders Show. While appearing on a Season 3 episode of Will & Grace, Piven played Grace's ex-boyfriend, and as Debra Messing recalled to Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live! "You know, I had to kiss a lot of boys on that show. And we were rehearsing, and the very first day of rehearsal, he shoved his tongue all the way down to my heart." Messing says she told Piven to take it easy, but he refused to listen. "I was like, 'You know, this is comedy. We don't really go that deep.' And every time he went for it." Not cool.
