Pearl also starred in a second video titled Good Cop, Baby Cop. In March 2023, it was revealed that McKay's next project would be titled Average Height, Average Build, a political satire focused on a serial killer. Following his departure from SNL, he rose to fame in the 2000s for his collaborations with comedian Will Ferrell and co-wrote his comedy films Anchorman, Talladega Nights, and The Other Guys. Ferrell and McKay later co-wrote and co-produced numerous television series and films, with McKay himself co-producing their website Funny or Die through their company Gary Sanchez Productions. Additionally, on television, Luke Wilson starred in short-lived shows like Roadies and Enlightened.

I will miss London, and I’ll be there again in a different circumstance whether it’s TV, film, on stage, visiting, you know, doing a puppet show, whatever, you know? It was an interesting journey for me because I really wanted to play Harry with all the dimension that he deserved and British men don’t wear their hearts on their sleeves and I…There was a moment where I really let Harry be kind of raw and emotional. Actor Jeremy Piven looks back on his four-year journey as Mr. Selfridge and to get us ready to watch the series finale.
Through Shira, Jeremy's brother-in-law is director Adam McKay. In 2005, Piven returned to his theater roots starring in the off-Broadway hit Fat Pig by Neil LaBute, for which he received a Distinguished Performance Honor from the Drama League. He also appeared as Bobby Gould on Broadway in Speed-the-Plow.

The comedian has appeared in countless films with John Cusack. Just like Jeremy, John is also from Evanston and is a fellow alumnus of the Piven Theatre Workshop (as are Cusack’s sisters Joan and Ann). Both Jeremy and John once shared an apartment and have been friends since high school. Piven's role is a dramatic turn from his days playing the smart-mouthed Gold, despite both characters flying off the handle at any given moment. When RadarOnline.com spoke to him on the red carpet, he didn't hesitate to talk about his past, revealing he's not closing the door on an Entourage sequel.
Piven's acerbic comic skills emerged when he played a television writer on the HBO series The Larry Sanders Show . His first starring role came in the college farce PCU in 1994, in which he played a perennial student and natural-born disruptor in the send-up of political correctness on college campuses. He spent the rest of the decade in supporting roles in such fare as Miami Rhapsody, Grosse Pointe Blank , and Kiss the Girls . There was also a three-year stint on Ellen DeGeneres' sitcom as her cousin, Spence, out of which Piven was offered his own hour-long series on ABC, Cupid , which debuted in the fall of 1998.
"I was a freshman, getting lead roles in plays, just from auditioning. I loved it and just wanted to keep doing it." Chriqui had a long list of movie and TV show appearances before and after landing her role on the show. The Canada native currently stars as Lana Lang in The CW’s Superman and Lois.

It was the first industry honor the actor had ever won, though he had, according to Time 's Joel Stein, "made a career of playing supercharged supporting characters as if he were Al Pacino on a leash. His talent is being big and real simultaneously." “I’ve been around a while, and you’re lucky to get your pilot picked up, much less have a run like that. Jeremy Piven I was so immersed in something else, [filming the British series Mr. Selfridge], but the idea of going back to it seemed really fun. I really do think that everything that one does informs the next thing that you do. And going over there and working in a different tone and playing with the best actors in the world—the talent pool is so deep in the U.K.
Reality TV personality Ariane Bellamar made accusations via Twitter in October 2017 that Piven had groped her. Cassidy Freeman came to Bellamar's defense via Instagram when she alluded to her own disturbing past with Piven, who the actress claims engaged in predatory behavior toward her. A week later, advertising exec Tiffany Bacon Scourby alleged Piven had sexually assaulted her in 2003.
