One reason I miss living in kew is because of this place! I honestly think they make better fish and chinese restaurant chips than the well known hunky dory or beluga! If I ever head that way again, Im sure to drop in.

While the interiors are not fancy, friendly staff more than make up for it. We had our wedding lunch there -- just a small wedding, so there were only 14 of us -- and it was absolutely brilliant. The staff were really accommodating and helpful, the food was lovely, the drinks were brilliant, and the price was reasonable. Couldn't have chosen a better location. Excellent Cantonese fare at reasonable prices. Basically pacific seafood but $20 cheaper pp. loved the beef dish and the crab + noodles are flavoursome.
There is street parking in the front and more parking at the back. The food is authentic and the serving portion is generous. The Chicken Laksa tastes good but the soup is a bit thick to my liking. Front staff Vicki and Bec were lovely as usual . There is a resturant in colchester called Banquet 1408 it is by far the best chinese I have ever been to. It knocks spots of anything in londons chinatown. They specialise in seafood as well and serve sea urchin among others. Guaranteed good food and friendly services. Shrimp, chicken, beef, roast pork, and scallops with mixed vegetables. Served with pork fried rice or steamed rice and choice of wonton soup, egg drop soup, hot & sour soup, or soda. Had a great lunch here with my friends.
