Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customised using a specialized app to save your home's maps setting cleaning schedules, and select mopping options. You can also alter the suction power and fine tune the amount of water and the scrubbing action of your mop.
A mapping function will help your robot navigate around rooms. An obstacle avoidance feature helps it avoid running over furniture, wires or other toys. These features are crucial for my home, which is full of toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the company's flagship mop and vacuum, so it is naturally with a host of features. It's able to both mop and sweep in a single session and can raise its brushes and mop pads to prevent soft surfaces from becoming wet. It also has the ability to see and avoid obstacles, thanks to the ability to identify pets plants, small objects.
The robotic vacuum's maximum suction power is 6,000 pascals. This is the highest power of any robot vacuum we have tested so far. It is also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation that tracks its location, preventing it getting stuck on an object.
The mopping function is impressive, with the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of more than 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide deep cleaning. It also comes with a mop lifter system that lifts the pad automatically when it changes between tile and laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs, to avoid soaking soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be washed and dried in the dock and the dust bin is automatically empty and returned to it. This means you can leave it in place and forget it, only needing to replace the dust bag or refill the water tank on occasion.
All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its usual mop- and vac-settings for approximately 160 minutes before it started to lose power and returned to its base to recharge. This is not far off of the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is comparable with other hybrids that I've test.
It's a robust, well-rounded product. The only issue is that it's pricey. Its sheer number of features make it an appealing choice for anyone who is looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. We would highly recommend this vacuum if you can justify the cost.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end combination. Its premium price tag is justified by its powerful features, which include the capacity to vacuum large volumes and two gyrating mops. It also has an app-based, smart controller and a mighty obstacle avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop combinations out there at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it did very well in all areas of the house, removing 98.4 percent of debris from all floors and managing to lift long hair without knots. The mops were also excellent, achieving great cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models, thanks to their rotational motion as well as an incredibly strong cleaning solution.
However, the L10S Ultra's real selling point is its advanced multifunctional docking station. The docking station emptys the trash bin into a bag that can be used for dirt, refills the tank with water to use to mop and also dry your mop pads. It also features a real-time hazard detection system and allows you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions via its smart controls.
Unlike
robot vacuum reviews , the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris pickup performance on carpets. The mops on the L10S Ultra are not as effective at removing stubborn stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features, it still requires regular maintenance. The base station must be cleaned as well as the water tank and dust bag should be cleaned, empty and dried regularly to prevent unpleasant odors and mildew. The mop pads sold separately also need to be changed periodically.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the budget. If you're on a tighter budget, I would suggest an easier model that allows you to save money while still enjoying hands-free cleaning at your home. Even it were the case that the L10S Ultra was the best robotic mop and vacuum combination you could buy, its high cost and constant maintenance would make it more a want than need.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop you need to clean up messes and remove dirt from your hard floors. This powerful mop and robot vacuum combo comes with an impressive 8,000 Pa of suction power and a huge battery capacity for mopping and vacuuming and top-quality obstacle-avoiding. It also comes with a roller mop that cleans itself as it goes, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that need to return to their base station mid-clean in order to wash off the mop pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is distinct from the spinning discs and microfibre pads found in other robots. The roller is nearly the entire width of the robot, and it is supplied with a continuous supply of clean water that is filtered and ozonated from the dock. As it rotates the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes or swept away into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then takes the mop water into its base station which is then absorbed by the tank's heating elements and is poured into a larger storage canister. The tank that is onboard is able to hold a large amount of water and take on up to a dozen mopping sessions before rushing out.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use straight out of the box, just like most other robotic vacuums and mops. The S1 Pro does need to be filled with clean water. This can be accomplished in the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock if you prefer to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you decide to use this feature, however, you will be required to purchase the Eufy brand cleaning solution, which is more costly than other robot brands allowing users to select their own choice of cleaning solutions.
As with most robots that are available, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. It was fast to map a room and it easily navigated around furniture. It was stuck on carpets with thick piles a couple of times during my tests. However this could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that offers lots of features at an affordable price.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's basic mop and vacuum. However, it still offers some impressive features. The dock's multifunction emptying the robot's dirtbag and refilling its water tanks and washing and sanitizing mop pads is done by the dock. The mopping system is capable of cleaning a good bit of a space before it has to return to its dock and the vacuum's powerful suction is capable of removing dirt and pet hair that accumulates on carpets.
The application that runs this appliance is dense, with a wide range of options to customize the cleaning process. You can manually initiate the full map and then take care to clean everything that is that the device maps, or you can pick specific rooms, expandable zones or even a schedule you've crafted. There are several mopping options which include SmartPlan -an algorithm that makes use of the mops' sensors to determine the most efficient way to tidy your home as it maps the area.
Like the other Roborock models we've examined The Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system is reliable that can quickly map rooms and cleaning them in an organized manner. Its "Normal" pathing setting covers an area well, and doesn't leave any major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system works fairly well, too, though it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards such as thick carpets but it might not always recognize smaller things like rug tassels or electrical wires.
The one glaring flaw of this machine is the lack of a mop-after-vacuum option that could be a problem for those who do a lot of vacuuming prior to cleaning with their robot. There's a simple solution: the app offers a feature that lets you "clean up", at the end of every vacuuming session. The mopping features of the vacuum to get rid of the dust and traces that were left behind after vacuuming. It's a nice touch and helps the robot get rid of a bit better than its less expensive competitors.
