Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops are becoming more capable. They pass our tests on cleaning and can handle a variety of flooring. Select models that allow you to select between a variety of types, including self-emptying and clean stairs.

A lot of the top models work with smartphones. Look for an app that lets you save maps, schedules, and choose cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

Eufy's gunmetal-and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuum and mop combinations on the market. It makes use of lidar to navigate making maps of rooms and floors.

The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which has flooring in the kitchen, dining room, and bathrooms and a medium-pile and a large rug. It was able to drive close to walls without crashing into them, and was able to drive across thresholds that were raised in the room without issue, though it occasionally struggled to get down stairs in a single step. The S1 performed admirably in cleaning hard floors. Its mop moved smoothly on its flat side and swung up when it reached carpets or rugs.

The docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and fills its water tank onboard with clean, ozonated waters prior to every mopping session. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water for deep cleaning. The S1 water tank can be able to accommodate 12 cleaning sessions, but this will vary dependent on how often you use the mop.

The S1 requires periodic maintenance, just like all 2-in-1 robots. You'll need to wash out the dirty tank to prevent it from becoming clogged. Also, you'll need to clean your sensors and swivel wheel regularly to avoid them becoming blocked by dust or dirt. Overall the S1 is simple to maintain, especially compared to other models that require more hands-on maintenance.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

Ecovacs' all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop is an effective solution for your cleaning requirements. The robot vacuum is rated at 8700Pa of suction and comes with numerous innovative features, such as full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning to avoid obstacles and cleans furniture. Its mopping ability is impressive. Rotating mop heads actually lift the floor and scrub it instead of just dragging a pad across the surface. Mops can also be dried and cleaned at the base station, if required.

This robot combo has an easy-to-use interface that guides you through the process. It also includes a hand vacuum which can be used to clean hard-to reach areas that the robot cannot reach. There are also two water tanks which are automatically emptied or filled. It comes with a variety of useful settings that allow you to fine tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a good vacuum cleaner. It has a powerful suction which can easily remove dust and debris that other robots have difficulty with. Its navigation capabilities are robust, however it does sometimes get hung up on the tiny carpets or area mats that I have in my home (which is something you can reduce by creating a virtual border within the app). Mopping capabilities are excellent, with a pair spinning mops which can lift and scrub the floor instead of dragging the pad across it. The mops are cleaned with heated water and dried in the base station as needed. Mops can also be filled at the top of the station if needed.

3. Dreame X40 ultra

Dreame launched the high-end X30 Ultra earlier this year however their latest top-of-the-line robot mop and vacuum comes with more impressive features. It is a great cleaner and is easy to maintain. This makes it a contender for our list of the top mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection, and an expanded side brush ensure that an efficient, custom-designed clean is accomplished.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, removing large and fine particles from both hard floors and carpets. It also cleaned our tests' most filthy areas well, and eliminating pet hairs that are tangled and other dirt. The sweeping performance of the machine is boosted by a sidebrush that swings out in order to reach hard-to-reach areas, and mop pads that run along baseboards.

Its navigation system is intelligent that can navigate tight spaces and climbing the stairs without a hitch. It can easily move from one room to another without reversing direction, which is a handy feature for homes with several rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is not as advanced than some competitors, however, and tends to leave a thick space around obstacles, which can result in missed spots.

The app's interface is intuitive and easy to use. It should be easy to use by both novice and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleanings, change mopping and suction power settings, view 2D and 3D maps, and much more. It is accessible through the app, Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri and allows you to keep an eye on its progress from anywhere. best robot vacuum cleaner can also remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. You'll need a stable WiFi connection to use the app and external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 Pro

Robot vacuums are excellent in removing dirt and debris but they can't reach every speck of dust. It is important to clean often, at least once a week. This is especially true for dust that accumulates in corners, on shelves, and in crevices in your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that both vacuums and mops, is designed to accomplish this. It's easy to connect to your home Wi-Fi network, and works with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more useful addition to your cleaning routine.

The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, including the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensors, however it's cheaper since it doesn't have mopping capabilities, and also has a plastic body.

Even though it's not able to wipe your floors, the Q5 has the most impressive mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robot in this price range. It's got a powerful suction power of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system which means you don't need to empty the bin manually every time. It also features a smart app that lets you select the type of floor and schedule cleanings. It also has an automatic refill of the water tank and wash system that allows hands-free operation.

Its mops are also impressive with their 2700Pa power to combat pet hair and dirt, on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was one of the few robots we tested did not show issues with high-pile rugs and carpets. However, it could not pick up kitty-litter or cable tangles. This isn't a surprise as it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle-avoidance features.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is the quietest robot vacuum we've ever tested. It also uses a unique mapping system that helps it reach corners and tight places that other vacuums are unable to. This device also stores dust in a bigger dustbin which means you have to empty it less often. Additionally, it has washable filters which further reduces the costs associated with using the device. The robot is able to detect carpets, and boost suction if necessary. The app also lets you to mark off areas that you want it to stay clear of and is a great feature.
