The S1 water tank can be able to accommodate 12 cleaning sessions, but this will vary dependent on how often you use the mop.

The S1 requires periodic maintenance, just like all 2-in-1 robots. You'll need to wash out the dirty tank to prevent it from becoming clogged. Also, you'll need to clean your sensors and swivel wheel regularly to avoid them becoming blocked by dust or dirt. Overall the S1 is simple to maintain, especially compared to other models that require more hands-on maintenance.

The mops are cleaned with heated water and dried in the base station as needed. Mops can also be filled at the top of the station if needed.

3. Dreame X40 ultra

Dreame launched the high-end X30 Ultra earlier this year however their latest top-of-the-line robot mop and vacuum comes with more impressive features. It is a great cleaner and is easy to maintain. This makes it a contender for our list of the top mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection, and an expanded side brush ensure that an efficient, custom-designed clean is accomplished.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, removing large and fine particles from both hard floors and carpets. It also cleaned our tests' most filthy areas well, and eliminating pet hairs that are tangled and other dirt. The sweeping performance of the machine is boosted by a sidebrush that swings out in order to reach hard-to-reach areas, and mop pads that run along baseboards.

Its mops are also impressive with their 2700Pa power to combat pet hair and dirt, on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was one of the few robots we tested did not show issues with high-pile rugs and carpets. However, it could not pick up kitty-litter or cable tangles. This isn't a surprise as it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle-avoidance features.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is the quietest robot vacuum we've ever tested. It also uses a unique mapping system that helps it reach corners and tight places that other vacuums are unable to. This device also stores dust in a bigger dustbin which means you have to empty it less often. Additionally, it has washable filters which further reduces the costs associated with using the device. The robot is able to detect carpets, and boost suction if necessary. The app also lets you to mark off areas that you want it to stay clear of and is a great feature.
