Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mop are becoming more capable. They pass our cleaning tests, and can handle different floors. Find models that let you choose from a variety of modes, and use their charging docks to self-empty, and clean up stairs.
Many of the best models are compatible with your smartphone. Check for an app that lets you save maps, set schedules and select cleaning options.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations on the market. It makes use of lidar to navigate and create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels) and integrates with the free Eufy Clean app that lets you set up schedules and modify the S1's behaviour.
When I tested the S1 It was quick to map the downstairs area, which has laminate flooring in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms, plus carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It was able to drive close to walls without hitting them and even managed to traverse raised room thresholds with no problem, although it sometimes struggled to get down stairs in a single pass. The S1 also did an excellent job of cleaning hard floors by dragging its mop effortlessly on its flat side against the floor and lifting itself when it reached carpet or rugs.
Before each mopping session, the docking station on the S1 automatically empties its dustbin and fills up its water tank onboard with clean filtered ozonated water. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1 water tank can hold enough for 12 mopping sessions, however this will vary dependent on how often you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires regular maintenance to ensure that it's operating efficiently. You'll need to wash out the dirty tank to keep it from becoming blocked. You will also need to clean your sensor and swivel wheel frequently to avoid them becoming blocked by dust or dirt. But, overall the S1 is easy to maintain, especially when compared to other models which require more effort to maintain.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop is an effective solution for your cleaning requirements. Its robot vacuum boasts 8700Pa of suction and comes with many innovative features, such as full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning to avoid obstacles and cleans around furniture. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive, with rotating mops that actually lift and scrub the floor rather than simply moving the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned and dried in the base station as needed.
This robot combo is easy to setup and use, and has a clear interface that walks you through the process. It includes an electric hand vacuum that can be recharged for those hard-to-reach areas that the robot can't reach and two water tanks that are automatically emptied and replenished when needed. It also has a number of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a good vacuum cleaner. It has a strong suction that can effortlessly remove dirt and other debris that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are decent, but it can be stuck on small mats and rugs in my home (which you can mitigate by creating virtual boundaries within the app). Mopping capabilities are excellent and include a pair of mop heads that lift and scrub the floor instead of simply moving the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station whenever required. Mops are also refilled from the top of the base station when required.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was launched earlier this year. But their latest flagship model has even more impressive features. It has fantastic cleaning results and is simple to maintain. This makes it a top contender on our list of the best mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush will ensure a thorough, customized clean is achieved.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up large and small particles from both hard floors and carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest places of our tests with ease by avoiding pet hairs as well as other mess. The sweeping power is enhanced by a side brush that moves out to tackle difficult-to-reach corners, as well as an extended mop pad that is placed along baseboards.
Its navigation system is nimble that can navigate narrow spaces and negotiating stairways without stepping back. It is able to move from one room to another without having to change direction. This is useful for large homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is not as advanced than other models However, it tends to leave a wide distance over obstacles, which can result in missed spots.
The app features a simple and intuitive interface that will be user-friendly for both new and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and control cleanings. You can also adjust suction power, mop settings as well as view 3-D and 2D maps. It is accessible through the app, Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri which allows you to keep an eye on its progress from anywhere. You can also remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. You'll require a reliable internet connection to use it via the app as well as external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 Pro
A robot vacuum can do a fantastic job of picking up debris and dirt, but it can't always be able to reach every piece of dust. This is why it's crucial to use your regular vacuum at least once a week, especially to pick up dust in corners, on shelves and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop designed to do exactly that. It's easy to connect it to your home Wi-Fi network and is compatible with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more practical addition to your daily cleaning routine.
The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, which includes the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it is cheaper because it doesn't come with mopping capabilities, and also has a plastic body.
Although it's no longer able to mop floors, the Q5 has some of the best mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robotic in this price range. It has powerful 5500Pa suction and an auto-empty system, so you don't have to manually empty the bin every time. It comes with a smart application which allows you to schedule cleaning and choose the floor type. It also has an automatic water tank filling system and washing system for hands-free operation.
The mops are also quite impressive, with 2700Pa of power to tackle dirt, dust, and pet hair on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 is among the few robots we tested that didn't have any problems with carpets with high piles or area carpets, but it didn't pick up cat litter or cable tangles and cable tangles, which isn't a surprise given that it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5.
remote hoover Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robot vacuum we've ever tested. It also features an innovative mapping system that helps it reach tight spaces and corners that other vacuums cannot. It also collects more dust in the larger bin, meaning that you don't have to empty it as frequently. It also has washable filters that further lower the costs associated with using the device. This robot can also detect carpets and boost the suction if required. You can also mark areas you would like to keep out of the app.
