Robots That Vacuum and Mop
Robots that mop and vacuum offer the convenience of cleaning both dry debris (dust, dirt) and wet mess (spills or staining) in one session without the need to change devices. They can also help save space compared to two separate units, particularly in smaller living spaces.
A good combination bot will have excellent navigation and obstacle avoidance. Look for models that automatically empty their bins, refill their water tank and machine-wash their mopping pads with an appropriate dock.
1. Eufy S1 Pro
It's one of the easiest robots to set up that we've tested. Unpacking the S1 Pro is simple, and the quick-start guide will get you running with a clean and complete dust bag, floor solution for hard floors and water tank in no time.
The S1 Pro is a powerful small machine that can is able to clean up a storm and also vacuums well. The mops spin at fast speeds and apply 2.2 pounds (1kg) of force, making short work of pet hair, dirt, and dried sticky spills. The vacuum comes with four power modes, a range of attachments and brushes, and a user-friendly app that lets you choose the type of cleaning you'd like for each room.
For instance, you could decide to let the robot clean up the kitchen and living rooms but be careful with the spare bedroom. The S1 Pro's front colision sensors and smart navigation technology are also excellent, with the robot being capable of detecting small obstacles that other models struggle with. The only problem is that the robot is known to smash into walls and objects at a high speed. However, a quick look at the history of cleaning in the app will show you exactly what the robot done, where it is going, and which obstacles he has run into or avoided.
The docking station comes with an LCD display that shows the need for maintenance for cleaning up debris and rinsing the dirty water tank. It is also able to mix detergent into the tank in a controlled manner with a 600ml of eufy solution.
Both the S1 Pro mop and vacuum have a long run time. The mop can operate for 184 minutes in Quiet Mode, and the vacuum can last 136 mins in standard mode, before needing recharging or returning to the base. The app is easy to use and intuitive, allowing you to see every aspect of the cleaning.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the latest version of Roborock's top-of-the-line robot mop and vacuum, is the newest version. Unlike last year's model this one has two agitators in its mopping pad which significantly enhances its carpet cleaning abilities. The S8 Pro Ultra has an enhanced suction power that allows it to pick up smaller hairs and other particles other robotic cleaners could miss.
As with the two other Roborock models I've tried it also has a 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology that help to avoid furniture, walls and other obstacles. But the S8 Pro Ultra takes things one step further by incorporating a dual camera that can detect objects and determine whether they are a wall or another type of surface. It can then automatically change its direction and clean them without missing a beat.
It's the most expensive model I've tried however it also comes with the most features.
auto vacuum cleaner , angular design is eye catching and only has three physical buttons. The power button, which also restarts the cleaning process mop function, a button for cleaning that doubles as a child-lock, and a home-button to bring the robot to its dock. The hinged lid opens up to reveal a 350ml dustbin as well as a 200ml of water tank. The water tank is self-emptying and the bin is auto-refilling.
The only issue I encountered to this model was that the VibraRise mop pads mount is not removable. While you can replace the mopping cloth (if it's required) but it's a challenge to take off the mount for manual washing. I've found that any plush carpet the robot crosses will come into contact with the Velcro-like fastener system on the mount, which can cause scratches.
The S8 Pro Ultra has a number of smart features which include support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. The Roborock app lets you manage and set up these smart features. It also has maps and advanced mopping options. The app lets you schedule cleanings and monitor the battery's lifespan. You'll need to go through a few steps to enable voice control on this model. It's a shame, considering how efficient it is otherwise.

They can be set through the app or buttons that can be found on the device itself.
