Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops are increasingly capable, acing our tests for cleaning and taking on various floor types. Look for models that let you choose between several modes, utilize their charging docks to self-empty, and clean up stairs.

A lot of the top models integrate with your smartphone. Find an application that lets you save maps, create schedules and select cleaning options.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

The gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive mop and robot vacuum combos available. It makes use of lidar to navigate and creates maps of rooms and floors.

When I tested the S1 It was quick to locate our downstairs, which is home to Linoleum flooring in the kitchen/dining room and bathrooms, as well as medium-pile carpeting and a large area rug. It was capable of driving close to walls and even over raised thresholds without issue. However it was a bit difficult navigating down the stairs in one step. The S1 performed admirably in cleaning hard floors. Its mop moved smoothly on its flat side and raised itself when it was near carpets or carpets.

The S1's docking station automatically empties its trash bin and fills its onboard water tank with clean, ozonated waters prior to every mopping session. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1 water tank can be able to accommodate 12 cleaning sessions, but it will differ depending on the frequency you use the mop.

The S1 requires periodic maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. In order to do this, you'll have to rinse out the dirty water tank occasionally to avoid it from clogging. Also, you'll need to clean your sensor and swivel wheel frequently to prevent them from getting clogged up with dust or dirt. Overall, the S1 is simple to maintain, especially when compared to other combinations which require more effort to maintain.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

Ecovacs' all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop provides an effective solution for cleaning. The Ecovacs robot vacuum comes with 8700Pa suction power, and comes with many advanced features like voice control and smart path planning that cleans furniture and eliminates obstacles. The mopping feature is impressive, with mops that rotate that actually lift and scrub the floor rather than simply drag the pad across it. The mops can be dried and cleaned at the base station when needed.

The robot comes with a simple interface that guides you throughout the process. It also comes with a hand-vacuum that can be used to clean hard-to reach areas that the robot cannot reach. There are also two water tanks that are automatically filled or empty. It has a variety of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does a good job at vacuuming, with strong suction that easily removes most of the debris, and even smaller pieces of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty robust, however it can sometimes get caught up on the tiny area mats or rugs that I have in my home (which is something you can mitigate by creating a virtual border in the app). Its mopping capabilities are also very good, with a pair spinning mop heads that lift and scrub the floor instead of drag the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned with heated water, and dried in the base station as required. Mops can also be filled at the top of the station as required.

3. Dreame X40 ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was released earlier this year. But their new flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It has fantastic cleaning results and is easy to maintain. This makes it a worthy contender for our top list of robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a longer side brush guarantee a thorough, customised clean.

The X40 Ultra vacuums well, it can remove both large and fine debris. It works equally well on hard floors and carpets. It also cleaned our tests' dirtiest areas well, avoiding tangled pet hairs and other dirt. The sweeping capability of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush that extends to reach hard-to-reach areas, and a mop pad that extends along baseboards.

Its navigation system is intelligent that can navigate narrow spaces and climbing stairs without skipping a beat. It can move from one room to the next without having to change direction. This is beneficial for homes that have multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is not as advanced than its competitors, however, and tends to leave a large distance around obstacles, which could result in missed spots.

The app features a simple and intuitive interface that will be easy for both novice and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleanings. You can also adjust suction power, mop setting as well as view 3-D and 2D maps. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. However, you will require a stable Wi-Fi connection to operate it via the app and external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 pro

Robot vacuums are great at picking up dirt and debris but they can't reach all dust. It is important to clean regularly, once a week. This is especially true for dust that builds up in corners, on shelves and in crevices in your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums as well as mop, is made to do exactly that. It's simple to connect to your home Wi-Fi network, and integrates with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more useful addition to your cleaning routine.

The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the company's expensive S-series models, which include the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but saves on price by eliminating mopping functions and using a lower-cost plastic body.

The Q5 remains one of the most powerful mopping and vacuums we've seen in this price range, even though it's not equipped to clean your floor. It features a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system so you don't have to manually empty the bin every time. It also has a clever app that lets you select your floor's type and schedule cleanings. It also has an automatic refill of the water tank and wash system for hands-free operation.

automated vacuum cleaner impress with their 2700Pa capacity to combat pet hair and dirt on carpets as well as hard floors. The Q5 was one of the few robots we tested that did not have problems with high-pile rugs and carpets. However, it did not remove kitty-poop or cable tangles. This isn't too surprising because it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle-avoidance features.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is one of the quietest robovacs we have tested. It also utilizes a unique system to map your home this allows it to get into the corners and tight spaces that other vacuums cannot reach. It also is able to collect more dust in the bin, which means you don't need to empty it as frequently. Furthermore, it comes with washable filters which further reduces the expenses associated with using the device. The robot is able to detect carpets and increase suction when needed. The app allows you to mark off areas you want to avoid and is a great feature.
