How does it work?
This unique Minecraft competition is open for students from all educational institutes across Wales. Wales Rugby Union WRU has collaborated well with Hwb and Minecraft Education Edition to provide students an exciting opportunity to learn and enhance their gaming skills in Minecraft. Participants will also have a chance to get a virtual tour of the famous Welsh Rugby club. All the participants will have to use their imagination and skills to build an innovative Rugby club of the future by using Minecraft Education Edition.
The competition will be open for students from the ages of 5 to 16. There are three main levels related to age of the participants. First level is called Foundation phase, the second level is called Key Stage 2, and the third level is Key Stages 3/4. The competition will also be carried in three stages, the first stage will be called Local round in which students from individual schools will be able to participate. The submission deadline for the local round is 5th of February 2021.
The second stage of the competition will be the Regional Semifinal, and the third and final round will be the National final on 2nd March 2021. All the participants will have to submit their creation on 5 February. The winners of the regional round will be announced by 22 February. All the finalists will have to showcase their creation in the National Level. It is a great competition for students in which they can boost their gaming and learning skills.
