They also allow you to alter suction power and fine-tune the amount of water and scrubbing action your mop uses.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the top-of-the-line mop and vacuum, which is why it naturally comes packed with features. It's able to mop and sweep in a single session and even lift its brushes and mop pads to prevent soft surfaces from becoming damp. The robot vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is more than any other robot vac we've tested. It also has PreciSense LiDAR Navigation that tracks its location, preventing it becoming stuck on objects.

Mopping capabilities are also impressive and features the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply constant pressure of over 6 Newtons to the mop pad for deep cleaning. It also features an automatic mop lifting mechanism, which will lift the pad when it transitions from laminate to tile hardwood, carpet and rugs, thereby avoiding soaking these types of soft surfaces.

Additionally it is also the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying functions. The pad is capable of rinsing and drying in the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. You can set it and forget about it. You only need to replenish the water tank or replace the dust bag occasionally.

All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. I used it on its normal vac and mop settings for approximately 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to run low on power and then return to its base for a recharge. This is not far off of the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is in line with other hybrids that I've tried.

It's a comprehensive, reliable product. The only issue is that it's costly. But its abundance of features makes it a very tempting option for anyone who wants to go away from their old stick vacuum and mop. We would highly recommend this vacuum if you can justify its cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium combination. The high price is justified by its robust features, such as a huge vacuuming capability and two gyrating mop heads. It also comes with an app-based controller that is smart and powerful obstacle avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros which is one of the most powerful robotic vacuums and mop combos on the market. In my tests, it performed very well throughout the home. It was able to eliminate 98.4 percent of the debris on all kinds of floors and managed to lift long hair without getting caught in. The mops also performed well and produced excellent cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models due to their rotational motion as well as a strong dose of cleaning solution.

The docking station is the primary selling aspect of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and advanced. The dock emptys its dust bin into dirt bag, then refills its water tank to enable mopping, and dry its mop pads for you. It has a real-time hazards detection system, and its intelligent controls allow you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions.

Unlike the other hybrid vacuum mops I tried, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris pickup performance on carpets. In addition the mops aren't efficient in removing staining that is as strong as those in the premium Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's many high-end features, it still requires regular maintenance and care. The base station must be cleaned and the water tank and dust bag should be cleaned, empty and dried regularly to prevent unpleasant odors and mildew. It is also important to note that the mop pads, which are purchased separately, will need to be replaced regularly too.

With the L10S Ultra's pricey pricing and its extensive features, I would recommend it to anyone with the funds for it. For those who are on a tighter budget, I would suggest a more rudimentary model that allows you to save money while still enjoying the convenience of hands-free cleaning at your home. Even it were the case that the L10S Ultra was the best vacuum and robotic mop you could buy however, its cost and constant maintenance will make it seem more an item to have than one that you actually need.

The Qrevo was a great performer in our tests, just as all Roborock models that we've test. Its navigation system performs well in locating rooms quickly and cleaning in an organized manner. Its 'Normal' pathing setting is excellent at covering a room, with no major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well, but it is not as advanced as color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like carpets that are thick, but it may not be able identify smaller objects like rug tassels and electrical wires.
