Best Robot Vacuums and Mop Systems

This robot vacuum mop is a great alternative for those who live in flats, as it carries the rubbish away in its own bin and utilizes the docking station that is smaller. The app allows you to select different modes and monitor the cleanliness, plus the mopping feature impresses.

Its mapping capabilities and obstacle avoidance are impressive, as is the fact that it mops very well and removes pet hair, spillages and dirt. It also self-empties and cleans and refills its tank.

Roomba from iRobot Combo

The iRobot Combo is a robot that can mop and vacuum. The iRobotCombo can't replace our Editors' Choice winner, the Deebot X1 Omni. It is more efficient and comes with an app that's mobile and more user-friendly, but it's a good alternative. In our tests, it consistently picked up dirt of all sizes and types from hard floors and carpets. Its obstacle avoidance isn't as sophisticated as other systems, like LiDAR or structured light, but it can prevent collisions in the majority of cases.

The Combo includes the majority of the same smarts as the j7 Plus, including new acoustic sensors onboard to identify the type of floor and AI-powered navigation, however it does not have the ability to adjust suction power manually. It's also a little smaller than its vac-only counterpart, and doesn't come with self-empty docks.

In my experience, the Combo is a fantastic choice for most homes and its sleek design is easily one of the best in the market. The sleek, matte black plastic looks better than the majority of competitors' glossy or metallic finishes, and iRobot's small features--like a leather tab that can open the bin onboard and a shelf within the dock that can hold additional bags--are classier than the majority of its competitors'. The iRobot Combo also allows you to create maps of your home, and to create Keep-Out Zones as well as No-Mop Zones, and Clean Zones.

Roborock

Although Roborock is relatively new to the robot vacuum and mop industry but it's already made its mark due to its suite of innovative cleaning techniques. Roborock's vacuums are world-class in suction, and its mopping systems utilize vibrating mops to keep floors clean. You can also customize the cleaning routine of the bot by using a variety and mapping options.

Roborock's obstacle avoidance feature enables the robot to detect objects that are lower than its own height. This is particularly useful for the most popular Roborock models, like the Qrevo Master, which is top of the line in terms of navigation courtesy of both vSLAM and LiDAR. Other robovacs are known to slam into pet waste and slam furniture, without even noticing. The Qrevo Master is able to solve this problem by using the Reactive Artificial Intelligence system which makes use of dual cameras to perceive the presence of objects in a room.

Roborock robots also come with several convenience features that help reduce day-to-day maintenance. These include auto-empty docks, as well as multi-functional mop washing stations. They can make it easier to manually empty dustbins and wash mops, making for an entirely hands-free ownership experience. Plus, the app's simple layout and fast connection to the robot make it simple to use.

Hobot Legee D8

With a variety of integrated cleaning modes and advanced mopping features, the Hobot Legee is one of the top robot vacuums and mops for both wet and dry floors. Its advanced navigation system integrates five technologies to plan and create a route that is most efficient. It also detects different flooring materials, and obstacles with pinpoint accuracy. It can raise its body up to 7mm to glide over carpets. The smart spray system uses the appropriate amount of water to wash away the stains, without leaving ugly water marks.

The Legee is the Gen 4 Robot, competes directly with the Eufy Robovac X9 or Ecovacs Deebot T20. Both robots cost more. It has more features than either with a more flexible, D-shaped body that is able to clean the corners and under cabinets better than a round one. Its sensors include 360deg 3D (Lidar, Encoder, Gyro E-compass, and Encoder) four forward-facing and one right-side-facing FDS (IR ToF sensors for distance) and two cliff detectors front and back (most robots only have one pair). Additionally, it comes with Legee SLAM that minimizes the bump and grind issues that cause problems for Gen 4 Robots.

Unlike most other robots, the Legee features a built-in trash compactor and can use the less raunchy 5 GHz Wi-Fi band. The included LuLu mop cleaning station cleans, refills and dries the mop's cloth. It can be used for up to six times longer than other mops. It also reduces waste and frequency of emptying the bin.

Karcher RCV 5

Karcher, known for its gardening tools and pressure washers has been experimenting with robot vacuums for a long time. This is the most advanced model from the company. Powered by LiDAR, it creates maps of your home and can be programmed to mop or vacuum. It also can tell the distinction between hard floors and carpets so that you don't get the dreaded pile of puddles.

Its navigation is superb, avoiding carpets or furniture with ease. It can also lift itself over steps. The robot can be customized with a variety of settings, including cleaning schedules and which rooms it must clean. It has an emergency button' that will force the robot to return home if its power runs out. It can be set to shut off automatically if a storm approaches.

The RCV 5 is very easy to use, and despite being quite heavy at almost 4kg, you shouldn't have any difficulty moving it around furniture. Safety features such as a sensor warning it to avoid stairs will be appreciated by parents with small children. After charging, it takes just several hours to fully charge and the two buttons on top will turn green to indicate that it is ready to go.

Mova E30 Ultra

The Mova E30 Ultra is a robot vacuum cleaner that balances advanced cleaning technology with affordability. It's a rival to models like the Dreame L10 Ultra or Roborock's bestseller Q Revo. The Mova E30 Ultra is a cheaper model, but it comes with features that are not available in many other models. It uses sensors to alter the settings for various flooring and surfaces, as well as to detect dirtier areas. It also has the ability to move at a slower speed to avoid damaging delicate furniture or walls.

You can also see the map of your house in the app. You can also mark areas and objects you would like the vacuum to stay away from. The vacuum will slow down when it detects an obstacle and prevent itself from hitting it. It also has a smart dustbins that notify you when it's full, so you can empty it before you need to.

The Mova E30 Ultra offers a cost-effective solution for those looking to delegate their cleaning chores. breaking news doubles as a robot vacuum and mop which allows you to keep your floors clean without lifting a finger. It features a clever design which increases the cleaning of corners by as much as 60 percent. It has up to 7000 Pa of suction power and RoboSwing arms. It can be controlled via the app or voice assistants such as Alexa or Siri.

Beko RCV3

The Beko RCV3 is a sleek and feature-packed hybrid robot mop/vac that does an excellent job of keeping floors spick and span. It's not able to lift its mops to clean carpets and rug, as does the Roborock S8 MaxV ultra, but it's very effective in cleaning hard floors. It comes with a self-emptying bin, a high level of suction, a range of mopping options, and a high-quality application that runs on iOS and Android.

It's a little smaller than the competition and its main brush is shorter than others, but it managed to make short work of our test area effortlessly. The revolving edge brush on the side is a nice addition. Although it wasn't able to remove dirt as well as some of the competitors, it still did a great job.

The robot can be programmed with specific cleaning parameters for each room. It can then create detailed maps using the built-in LiDAR navigation. It's simple to control through the app, and a range of voice output options will inform you about the condition of your home robot. Regular updates to the software enhance and extend its performance. The app can also be used to remotely manage the RCV3 when you're not at home.
