Best Twin Stroller For Newborns

A double stroller is essential if you're expecting twins or if you have two children of the same age. The best strollers offer numerous ways for your children to ride such as side-by-side seating, and an attachment for a rider board.

The Bugaboo Donkey 5 Mono is Lauren Ro's favorite stroller. It adapts to your family's needs effortlessly. It can accommodate two infant car seats as well as a toddler seat which makes it a great option for twins starting at birth.

Bugaboo Donkey

This is the top double stroller for families who are looking for a stylish and attractive side-by-side double stroller. It's a larger than the other Bugaboo models but it's sturdy and built to last. It has a handlebar that is adjustable that retracts and extends easily. It also has a fantastic reach, so it is easy for my husband of 6'1 to push, even when fully loaded.

The seats are spacious and can be placed to place one child behind the other or have the children face each other. The seats can recline independently of each other. The canopies cover both fabric seats, if desired. They're not a lot of ventilation which makes them appear like an oven on hot days. There's no way to see your kids.

This stroller has an exclusive feature that allows it to grow with you and your family. It can go from one seat (Mono Mode) to the double side by side stroller. It is the only double stroller convertible that can do this. It can also be used with a second car seat or bassinet for newborns.

It is simple to use on smooth surfaces, and it is able to handle stairs and slopes with ease. It isn't easy to maneuver around busy restaurants and shops. It can also be difficult to fold, especially when the seats are tucked away. It is still fairly compact though, and it does fit through most doors easily.

There is an extra storage bin that is attached to the frame next to the front seat in mono mode. This is great for groceries and other supplies. The main storage basket beneath the seats is huge and can hold up to 100 lbs that is more than any other stroller on this list!

Uppababy Vista v2

This is one of the top twin strollers for new newborns. It can be used right from the box as a double stroller, and is compatible with a variety of infant car seats and bassets. It can even accommodate two bassinets or infant car seats at the same time if you purchase the Vista Upper and Lower adapters.

The V2 is an improved version of the original Vista. The toddler seat is now raised by half an inch, the footrest has been made bigger and the canopy comes with an additional fabric extension that zips out. The harness has also been modernized - it doesn't require re-threaded, making it easy to adjust.

The stroller is fairly large wheels (8'' in front and 11.5'' in the back) with a sturdy suspension, so it can easily handle a variety of terrain. The wheels made of rubber on the front are ideal for navigating rocks and gravel, while the tread on the rear wheels is more suitable for grassy hills or sidewalks.

A child's bicycle can also be attached to the front of a stroller. This is a great solution for parents who don't wish to use a car seat. If you have a child who is able to stand in the Vista, the Vista can even fit an additional child with its piggyback ride-along board accessory.

Vista is Vista is easy to use and set up, although it can take some time to unpack all of the protective packaging. The instructions are easy to follow, and there is a YouTube video if you need assistance in understanding the steps.

Thule Urban Glide 3

The Thule Urban Glide 3 is the most recent version of the popular all-terrain stroller and it's designed to draw the attention of modern families who value style, sustainability and adventure. It features exciting improvements such as a built-in foot rest and a reclined seat that promises unbeatable comfort for children during long walks and jogging. Its sleek, agile design improves its mobility.

It is extremely light, making it easy to drive and quick to accelerate on the open road. Its suspension can handle sudden changes in surface (such as grass turning to pavement) and the large tires are able to withstand any terrain. It is able to climb kerbs with no difficulty, and it can maneuver in tight spaces like city streets with precision. Even small sidewalks and crowded parks are no problem for it.

While the new Urban Glide 3 offers superior performance, it also retains the classic Thule qualities that make it a top jogger for parents. The large canopy offers excellent sun protection, an easy peekaboo feature as well as a premium harness system and a handbrake that is precisely adjusted. It also comes with ample storage options, including inside-seat storage pockets and a large cargo basket that holds up to 15 pounds and comes with a zip-top cover.

This Thule Jogger includes a bassinet that is suitable for strolling infants, and a double version that can accommodate two children. It accepts car seat adapters so you can use the infant carrier of your child, and it features a simple one-handed fold to make it easy to transport and store. It's also a green option because it uses dyed solution in its black color options.

Cortina Together

Designed for the growing family, Cortina Together offers parents versatile seating options that can be adjusted to each child's unique needs and preferences. The two seats in the double stroller come with reclined backrests and canopies that are independent. They're also engineered to accept one of Chicco's top-rated KeyFit or KeyFit 30 infant car seats in the front and rear seat (car seat sold separately) with the exclusive click-in attachment that eliminates the need for additional straps and bars, as many competing models require.

A comfortable three-position handle can be used by dad or mom and a rear zipper access basket offers plenty of storage space for gear. The wheels and suspension of the tandem double stroller provide a smooth ride across any terrain. The one-touch linked rear breaks with toe-tap activated make stopping simple.

In our Strollers & Multiples lab tests, Cortina Together scored well for its ease of use. This metric is based on how easy it is to fold and set up the stroller, adjust the safety harness and open and close the snack tray, engage and disengage the brakes, and lift and carry the folded stroller as if putting it in a trunk, and for double strollers compatible, install and remove the infant car seat.

We did find some drawbacks to this model, however. First, it's heavy. It weighs 36.6 pounds fully loaded, which puts it closer to the beast end of our measurement. It also has limited visibility when a car-seat is installed in the back. The front tray release isn't always easy to use, particularly after prolonged usage. However, despite these issues, we consider this to be a great stroller for your family.

Jeep Double Stroller

The Jeep Destination Ultralight Side x Side Double Stroller is an affordable, lightweight stroller that is ideal for families with two kids. The front lock wheels swivel and rotate for smooth maneuverability on flat surfaces, and lock to provide stability on bumpy surfaces. It comes with an umbrella that folds down compactly and can be closed in a matter of seconds. It also stands upright to make transporting it easier. Its aluminum frame that is lightweight, foam handle and carrying strap makes it one of the most easy double stroller s to lift during our tests.

This stroller has independent reclining seats to ensure maximum comfort. Its large canopy can offer UPF 50 sun protection. It also comes with a peekaboo view window for easy monitoring. We would like to see the canopy vented for extra airflow, however. We also didn't love the fact that the cup holder is extremely high on the frame, meaning you'll have to bend down to reach it.

In our tipping-test in our tipping-test, the Jeep fell over at a 39-degree angle, which is more than the norm for a double pram. It's a little heavier, but offers more storage space for the price. The handle and seats are also well-padded.

This versatile stroller has three modes that include wagon (just to store things), Jogger (with two 5-point safety harnesses for kids) and car seat mode. It can accommodate a single infant car seat. However, pediatricians advise that you wait until your child is six months old to run with them. It is available in black and comes with a limited warranty.
