iRobot recommends that you tidy the area around the i3+ EVO vacuums before using it. This includes putting away any toys or other items it might encounter. You should also keep the dustbin and filter clear to avoid getting blocked. When the i3+ EVO’s internal bin is empty or the battery is not fully charged, it returns to the docking station, and it automatically emptys the dirt into the docking station’s external dustbin. Then it continues cleaning from where it began. The i3+ EVO's battery can last for about an hour and a half continuous use, and it takes about three hours to fully recharge.

2. IRobot Roomba i7+

The iRobot i7+ is a top model from iRobot’s flagship line and is packed with the most recent features. It's self-charging and self-navigating, but the most significant feature is the self-emptying bin. This removes the need for regular maintenance.

The Roomba I7+ can map rooms more efficiently with Imprint Smart Mapping. It also works with the iRobot Home app to let you schedule cleaning jobs and control your robot using voice or through the app.

The i7+ is more efficient and more agile in our tests than the eufy RoboVac G30. It also removed large pet hair pieces from all surfaces, including carpeting. The main advantage it has over the Eufy is the self-emptying bin, which removes major maintenance sources and reduces recurring cost.

We were also impressed by the i7+'s compatibility with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. We utilized these services to instruct the robot to begin or stop cleaning sessions and also to move around the room, and even vacuum a specific area. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ to these services. We were able, once connected, to voice commands to the i7+, for example "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home app also provides options to manage the i7+'s preferences and monitoring its performance.

3. Dyson Cyclone V10

This tiny Dyson model is a sports car in a world of cordless vacuums that feel like minivans and buses. It's got the power and features to replace a stand-up vacuum for most households and can fit in well next to the coffee table or the bookshelf, that you can spin around like the magic tool.

The V10 is powered with a Lithium-ion battery with 7 cells of energy, which produces energy that lasts for 60 minutes. Its advanced whole-machine filter system removes allergens, and then releases clean air back into your home.
