WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give a guaranteed boost to certain stats. Each upgrade boosts the level of an item by +3. Each upgrade also boosts a random substat.

The more modernized gear generally has a higher trade value as long as it meets low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or a very high stat variance (like the eth titan weapons). Upgrades are less important for the latter because of the requirement to roll a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader enables players to upgrade their gear to a higher item level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. go to website can be applied on any type of weapon or armor. However, the item that is used for the upgrade will be consumed for the duration of time and can't be used again. Upgrades can also be applied to enchantments.

The upgrader is located in every major city, and can be visited anytime to upgrade your gear. To keep your gear current, it is recommended that you visit the upgrader every couple of weeks.

Upgrades will cost more, based on the level of the item, however, they are always cheaper than purchasing new equipment. For instance upgrading a chest piece from Benthic to 385 levels will cost 20 recycle points, purchasing a similar piece from another player will costs 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are functional items which can be used to level up weapons, tools, armor, and accessories. Players can purchase them from item upgraders NPCs in a variety of currencies. They can also find them on random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade is able to be applied to any tool, weapon, or armor. The button will show the preview of an item's next upgrade level, when there are enough materials.

Upgrade costs differ based on the slot of the item and the current level of the item. For example, weapons will cost more than gloves, bracers or bracers. Each upgrade cost 15 Flightstones plus a specific number of crests. Some upgrades offer a discount on the Flightstones. Once an item is upgraded to a certain degree it can be re-downgraded and sold to the upgrader for a lower price.

Upgraders for items can be found at many locations, including the main island and some outposts. The NPCs offer an upgrade coupon and the possibility of getting a new recipe. The discount on upgrades increases with the number of items being upgraded, and can be boosted by having players complete some specific achievements or complete quests.

Icewind Dale does not have an upgrader for items at the start, unlike Cromwell from Baldur's gate II. The NPCs that can assist with upgrades are available only through a variety of methods. This is both a positive and an issue.

In Season 3, several new features were added to the upgrade system. Once an upgrade has been completed to a specific level for an armor slot, upgrading other items to the same level, will cost less. This is regardless of whether the items come from an entirely different set of equipment.

The discount is available to all accounts. In the same way, the amount of Harbinger Crests needed to upgrade is also reduced and is not available until players have reached certain achievement milestones.

Crests

When upgrading equipment in WoW players have a few choices. They can make use of Flightstones which are a general upgrade currency that is available to all players, or crests that are more specialized and consumed during upgrades on specific levels of items. Crests are an integral component of the Dragonflight Gear Progression System that was introduced in version 10.1. They are available in four ranks.

First, you must be aware that crests are only available for gear of a certain rank. Each rank has an upgrade path that is different. The simplest and easiest upgrade costs 15 crests. The most complicated upgrade could require as much as 20 crests, based on the type of equipment being upgraded.

Players can earn crests by completing content at the appropriate level. This could mean engaging in outdoor activities or taking on dungeons and raids of any difficulty to earn lower-tier gear or Mythic+ raid bosses or dungeons that have a high difficulty for endgame gear. The crests can later be exchanged at an item upgrader NPC, such as Cuzolth in Dornogal, or Vaskarn in Valdrakken, for the appropriate upgrade paths and steps.

The new currency system isn't difficult to use, however it does bring some changes to the upgrade process. When a piece reaches the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer) it no longer requires Flightstones. This is to allow players to upgrade their equipment up to the highest possible ilvl for all their characters instead of relying on seasonal loot.

It's also crucial to choose crests wisely, as they are only used for one purpose. It is recommended to use your Whelpling-rank Crests on the highest-quality gear you can locate, and keep Drake and Wyrm Crests for the next round of upgrades. This is especially applicable to items like trinkets and rings that take up several slots. The discount on the account will only apply when all the slots on the character are filled with high-quality gear.
