Lee Kang-in posted a memorial message commemorating the third anniversary of director Yoo Sang-cheol's death.

Soccer player Lee Kang-in (Paris Saint-Germain) paid tribute to his soccer teacher, former professional soccer coach Yoo Sang-cheol, who passed away from cancer three years ago.

On the 7th, the third anniversary of former director Yoo Sang-cheol's death, Lee Kang-in posted a photo of him and former director Yoo as children on his Instagram, saying, "I miss you, my respected teacher."

Former coach Yoo was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in November 2019. He later passed away on June 7, 2021, at the age of 50.

Lee Kang-in met former coach Yoo in 2007 through a broadcast program called ‘Fly, Shootdori’. For Lee Kang-in, he was the first teacher who opened up his soccer career.

Former coach Yoo said in a YouTube interview while he was still alive, “If I can spend a week in good health, I would like to go to Europe and watch Kang-in play on the field.”

Afterwards, Lee Kang-in joined the Spanish professional soccer Primera Liga Valencia youth team and grew up, and debuted in the first team in the 2018-2019 season. He also helped Korea advance to the finals for the first time in history at the 2019 FIFA Under-20 World Cup and won the Golden Ball, given to the tournament's Most Valuable Player (MVP).

After playing in Mallorca (Spain), he is playing for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the French professional soccer Ligue 1, one of the powerhouses in world soccer, in the 2023-2024 season. Lee Kang-in will be summoned to Kim Do-hoon on the 11th and will play the 6th round of the 2026 FIFA North and Central America World Cup Asian region 2nd qualifying round against China at Seoul World Cup Stadium.  온라인 슬롯
