The Korean women's modern pentathlon team's hopes of winning gold at the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games have been dashed.

Kim Sun-woo (Gyeonggi Provincial Office) 토토사이트went 26-10 to earn 255 points in the women's modern pentathlon fencing ranking round on Tuesday at the Fuyang Throat Sports Center in Hangzhou, China, placing her in second place behind Bia Yufei (China - 28-8-265).

Kim Se-hee (BNK Savings Bank) followed in third place with 23 wins and 13 losses for 240 points.

Sung Seung-min (Korea Gymnastics University) finished seventh with 235 points (22 wins, 14 losses) and Jang Ha-eun (Korea Land and Housing Corporation) finished 13th with 200 points (15 wins, 21 losses).

Modern pentathlon, which requires athletes to combine fencing, swimming, horseback riding, 스포츠토토and laser run (a combination of track and field and shooting), requires extreme physical fitness as well as versatility.

On this day, the fencing ranking rounds were held using the epee method, which can attack any part of the body. Nineteen athletes competed twice to determine their ranking.
