Driving License Category A1
Driving License Category A1 is a permit to operate two-wheeled motorized vehicles. It permits you to drive mopeds and small motorcycles that have an engine power no greater than 11 kW.
The process for getting this type of license is slightly different than other categories. Let's take a look at the steps.
Prerequisites
You need to be at minimum 16 years old to get a driver's license category A1. This license permits drivers to drive on a motorcycle that is light, while A2 and A are reserved for larger motor vehicles. You must also pass the first-aid course as well as theoretical training that is based on the full curriculum. Different driving schools offer this course. Prices may differ but they all follow the same curriculum.
The training in the practical part is made up of a number of driving lessons. The classes are between three and four hours. The instructors will guide you through the fundamentals of your motorcycle as well as the basic rules of road. The number of training hours will depend on your skill and your learning progress, but the program requires a minimum of five hours of instruction on federal roads and 4 hours of training on country roads. Training

Theory test
The Driving License Category A1 exam is a two-part test which comprises a theoretical portion as well as a practical part. Practical test
The test for the practical portion of the Driving License Category A1 exam is divided into two parts. The first is the examiner examining your motorcycle and preparing you to drive. Before you can obtain your license, you'll be required to pass a medical exam. You will need to prove that you've taken an initial-aid course and passed an eyesight test. If you are under 18 years old, you must have the permission of your parent or legal guardian to apply for a driver's license.
