Motorcycle Driving Course A1
The course is designed to prepare you for the Module One and Module two tests. The course includes hill starts and angle starts from parked cars and also basic road skills such as controlled stopping and emergency response.

Theory

The course includes all the theoretical preparation you need for the test. You can study on your own using online lessons as well as the theory materials. Once you have enrolled in our system you will be given instructions on how you can take part in these classes remotely in the virtual classroom (in Finnish). You can then choose the best schedule for your needs.
In this phase, your driving instructor will help you understand the fundamentals of motorcycling. You will be taught about safety tips and traffic rules, as well some of the more complex components of the vehicle.

The eas theory course included in the course will prepare you for your motorcycle driving theory test. This is a crucial element of your education and will help you pass the test. The theory test consists of an essay exam that has 40 questions and 2 clips on hazard perception. To pass the test, you must answer at least 28 of 40 questions correctly.
In the majority of cases, your eas test will be scheduled one month before you meet the age requirement for the license category you are preparing for. The test should be taken by a certified DVSA tester. If you do not pass your test at the first attempt, then you'll have to wait a minimum of 2 weeks before you can take it again.
We ask you to pay any outstanding balance if you haven't passed your theory test before you begin your eas training. This is to prevent another student from being able to take the seat reserved for this course. If you fail the test on the date specified in your schedule of training, we are unable to schedule an exam for you, and you will have pay the resit fee at the time of booking.
Practical
Motorcycle driving courses also include practical classes. These are the most important parts of your learning process and can be spread out over several weeks or months, based on your needs. You will require your own vehicle to complete this course. You should choose a motorcycle that is easy to handle that isn't too heavy or fast. The best place to start is with a 50cc moped or scooter.
The practical test is the next stage after you have completed your theoretical training. This is divided into two parts: Module 1 and Module 2. The first part, Module 1, is a 40-minute road trip, and the second one is a 10-minute independent riding section. Both parts are required to get your license.
To prepare for the motorcycle test of module 2 You should practice the basic maneuvers like the figure 8, slalom and emergency stop. These skills will enable you to know what the examiner is looking for. Make sure that your bike is in good shape and that you have all the gear you need, including gloves, a helmet and jacket. Also, you should wear comfortable shoes and ensure that you have your driving license with you.
The motorbike driving certificate is valid for a maximum of two years. If you don't pass the test within this time, you will need to go through the theory course again.
If you're planning to upgrade to a different vehicle category you'll need to complete Module 5. This is the advancement part of the course, which allows you to change your license without having to go through the entire IBT program all over again. This course must be taken on the motorcycle that you plan to use and approved by your instructor.
You'll need a motorbike that is road legal with L plates that are full-size front and rear, and mirrors. You will also need to ensure that the motorcycle is suitable for the test, and that it has an appropriate helmet and clothing that is suitable for the conditions.
The Assessment
You must have completed the initial Basic Training (IBT) before you can start training for your A1 motorcycle license. This eight-hour training course teaches skills necessary for safe riding. This course is part of RSA's Graduated Driver Licensing Scheme, which is designed to improve road safety. After you have passed the IBT, your instructor provides feedback and will recommend whether you are ready to move to the next stage of your training.
After you've passed the IBT Your instructor will prepare you for the A1 practical test. The test will comprise two sections and you must pass both in order to be able to get your license. Module 1 is comprised of off-road maneuvers, like controlled stops and a slalom, around cones, while Module 2 will be conducted on the road. It requires you to follow a pre-planned route with different traffic conditions.
The Module 1 test lasts for 20 minutes and assesses your ability to perform off-road manoeuvres such as slow rides or a figure eight. You'll be asked to do a U turn and an emergency stop.
After passing the module 1 & 2 tests, you can ride a motorcycle up to 35kW. This is the first step towards a full A-license, and it will permit you to ride either manual or automated scooters or motorbikes.
Your A1 license is valid for only two years. After that, you'll have to upgrade to the A2 licence, which will give you more freedom on the roads.
A1 courses typically consist of a mixture of practical and theory classes. The amount of training in the practical depends on the amount of experience you already have on a bike and the amount of classes offered will differ from school to school. Make sure you sign up for the A1 course as soon as you can so that you can book both your theoretical and practical tests at the same. You'll also require the appropriate equipment, such as gloves and a helmet. Some driving schools offer an opportunity to borrow equipment in the event that you don't have the required equipment.
Licensing
The Compulsory Base Training (CBT) is the initial step towards obtaining a motorcycle license. After passing the CBT test, you can legally use a motorcycle with a maximum power of 35 kW. It could be anything from a moped up to a small scooter.
CBT is a mix of theoretical and practical training. It teaches you to comprehend and follow the rules and regulations you must adhere to when you are on the road. The course is divided into three parts of 4 hours each. It lasts 12 hour. Before you can pass your driving test in category A1, you must complete all three modules. You must also be 18 years old in order to pass the course.
You must score at least 25 points to pass the test in theory. To pass the test, you must answer all questions correctly. There are no Retakes. The test takes approximately 45 minutes and is taken at an TUV or Dekra office of your choice.
The practical course is divided into three modules that last for four hours each. You must be at least 18 years old to pass the practical course, and be able drive any motorbike from a 50cc up to a 35kW bike. You must also demonstrate your ability to manage and control the vehicle in various situations, such as passing turning left or right, and changing lanes.
After completing your theory and practical lessons, you'll be ready to take the driving test to get your category A1 license. The test is a series of riding maneuvers on the motorcycle provided by your instructor. You will also need to demonstrate that you can control the bike in various conditions and in all types of weather conditions.
To pass the test, you must have completed at least five hours of instruction on Federal or Country Roads and four additional hours in the daytime or before dawn. You must also complete the required number of special rides. The instructor will notify you when you are ready to take the test and will provide you with valuable tips for passing it.
