Motorcycle Driving Course A1

The course provides comprehensive preparation for the Module One and Module Two tests. The training includes practicing angles from vehicles parked and hill starts, as along with basic road riding techniques like controlled stops and emergency response.

Theory

The course provides all the theoretical preparation you require to pass the test. You can study independently using online lessons as well as theoretical material. You will be given instructions on how to take part in these classes (remotely via the virtual classroom in Finnish) after you have enrolled in our student system and you can choose the most convenient time slot from our offered sessions.

During this phase you will be taught the fundamentals of motorcycling from your instructor. You will be taught about traffic rules and safety tips and also some of the more complex parts of the vehicle. You will be taught the fundamental knowledge required for all license categories as well as the specific requirements for the category you choose.


The eas motorcycle driving theory module that is included in the course, will prepare you for the motorcycle driving licence theoretical test. This is a crucial element of your education and will assist you in preparing to pass the test successfully. The theory test is a written test and comprises 40 questions as well as two hazard perception clips. To pass the test, you must be able to answer at least 28 of 40 questions correctly.

In addition to the theoretical course, motorcycle driving courses include a number of practical classes. It is important to note that the pass certificate for a motorbike driver's license is valid only for two years. If you don't pass the test within that time, you will need to go through the theory course again.

Module 5 is required if you want to upgrade to a new category of vehicle. This is the advancement part of the course, that allows you to upgrade your license without needing to go through the entire IBT program all over again. This course must be taken on the motorcycle that you plan to use, and approved by your instructor.

You will need a motorcycle that is road-legal and has full-sized L plates front and rear, and mirrors. You'll also need to ensure that the bike is appropriate for the test you're taking and that you have the right helmet and clothes for the weather.

Assessment

Before you begin your training for the A1 motorcycle licence You must have completed the Initial Basic Training (IBT). This eight-hour training course teaches essential skills needed to ensure safe riding. This course is part of the RSA's Graduated Driver Licensing Scheme, which helps improve the safety of roads. Once you've completed IBT, your instructor will provide feedback and a recommendation as to whether you are ready for the next step of training or not.

Once you've completed the IBT Your instructor will prepare you for the A1 practical test. This test will be divided into two sections. You must pass both to be able to get your license. Module 1 is comprised of off-road techniques, such as controlled stops and slaloms, around cones, whereas Module 2 will take place on the road. It involves following a pre-planned route with varying traffic conditions.

The Module 1 test lasts for 20 minutes and examines your ability to execute off-road maneuvers like slow rides or a figure eight. You'll be asked to make a U turn and an emergency stop.

After passing the module 1 & 2 tests, you are able to ride a motorbike up to 35kW. This is the first step to a full A-license, and it allows you to ride manually or automatically operated scooters or motorbikes.

Your A1 license is valid for only for a period of two years. After two years, you'll have upgrade to an A2 license which will give you more freedom to drive.

A1 courses include both practical and theory classes. The amount of instruction you receive will depend on your level of experience with bikes. The number of classes varies from school to school. It's a good idea to enroll in an A1 course as soon as you can so that you can schedule your practical and theory tests simultaneously. It is also necessary to have the required equipment, like gloves and a helmet. If you don't have all the necessary equipment certain driving schools provide a loaner program.

Licensing

The first step towards a motorcycle licence is the Compulsory Basic Training (CBT). After passing the CBT test, you can legally be able to ride a motorcycle up to 35 kW. This can be anything from a moped to the smallest scooter.

CBT consists of both theory and practical training. It teaches you to comprehend and apply the driving rules and regulations you must adhere to when driving. The course is divided into 3 modules of 4 hours each. It lasts 12 hour. You must complete each module before you can take the driving test required for obtaining your category A1 driving licence. You must be over 18 years old age to pass the course.
