Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals
This is your chance to own a robot vacuum. CNET's top models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday with savings of up to 57%..
The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that is equipped with smart mapping and app-based no go zones. Its running time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also automatically refills and self-empties its water tank.
1. Roomba j7+ iRobot from iRobot.
The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's smartest robot vacuum to date.
robot cleaner is its camera-based obstacle detection system that uses built-in AI to detect objects such as charging cords, shoes and the pet waste that many other robots are unable to avoid (and often plough right through). It's also the first to automatically send you a photo of an object it encounters to let you know to avoid it in the future.
The Combo J7+ is the best robot mop we've ever tested. It removes dirt and spills quickly, leaving no trace that it was there. It's simple to control via the iRobot Home app, which allows you to schedule cleaning times and set up Keep Out Zones to make sure it doesn't sweep areas you do not want it to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start and stop it using voice.
The design is also more appealing than the competition. It features a sleek, high-end piece that resembles toys rather than the loud and annoying robot. Clean Base's Automatic Dirt removal System also self-empties, which will cut down your cleaning time.
In our tests, the j7+ was quick to remove dust dirt, pet hair and other particles. The counter-rotating rubber brushes held the debris in place, instead of scattering it across the floor. It even managed to capture sand and small gravel, which most other robots aren't able to do. It did all this without getting caught in our pet's hair.
The j7+, though not as intelligent as the Roomba S9 for $1,217and Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot, and it can't clean the stairs, is still an excellent choice for those who want both mopping and vacuum. It's not costly and the iRobot App makes it easy to use.
The iRobot Home App is easy to use, but we found it less reliable as other robotic cleaner apps. It can take some time to download updates, and it's sometimes difficult to determine whether they're functioning until you actually witness them in action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you're looking to purchase a vacuum that does more than just clean floors, your best option is probably a hybrid. These machines are equipped with a tank of water so they can mop and vacuum simultaneously. They also have a number of additional features, including smart mapping, small obstacle avoidance and even the ability to dry and wash mopping pads. The negative is that they can be expensive when purchased at full retail price, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they are often reduced in price.
Roborock has some of our top robot vacuums and the Q5+ isn't an exception. It's the cheapest model in their auto-empty line. While it may not include some of the expensive features (like no-go zones or multi-story memories), it's still a great choice for those who are willing to make some compromises to save a few dollars.
The Q5+ is notably gentle around obstacles such as tables and walls, which makes it an excellent option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also extremely thorough when it comes to cleaning dust bunnies, which is an area where cheaper robot vacuums can really fall short. The navigation technology in the Q5+ is fantastic and has very few misses in corners and along walls.
Like other Roborock devices, the Q5+ can be controlled by a few buttons on the device itself or via the Roborock app. With the app you can start and stop cleanings and schedules, as well as create virtual barriers and no-go zones and adjust your home map or change the labels of rooms.
If you choose to purchase the Q5+ model, it ships with a new auto-empty dock, which was specifically designed to make the robot easy to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver but once it's installed it can be accomplished without difficulty. It also comes with a large LCD display that is great to have when you're creating schedules or changing settings. This feature isn't necessary for most people but it can help you to keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot vacuum and mop that's impressively smart in both its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design is among the best in the industry however it's quite expensive.

It is a relatively small base station that looks great and is able to be concealed when not in use. The primary selling point of the station is that it automates many tasks, functions and chores that other robots would leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water and also electrolyze and warm the water. The majority of other robots require you to perform this.
Its vacuuming performance is also impressive. It's the few robovacs I've tested that do a really good job of picking up debris on bare floors, and it's not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.
The Freo X Ultra is not free of faults, especially when it comes to navigation. The laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as some other robovacs, which means it sometimes gets stuck or confused in certain rooms or corners of the home. It's also unable to climb stairs as well as other competitors and doesn't come with a dock that can create a clean zone for plush carpets.
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a great choice for those who want a robot vacuum that does it all.
However, if you're looking to save some money, or just don't care about the limitations of this machine, there are plenty of other options available, including a lot of eufy models priced considerably less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for example, is cheaper and offers the same experience in the app, but with additional features such as stair climbing, a full-function dock, and better overall vacuuming performance on bare floors and low and high-pile carpets.
4. eufy RoboVac G30
Eufy is an Anker company that has an established track record of making robot vacuums with the right balance of features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different, offering a capable cleaning of hard floors as well as carpets and mopping function too at a price that is affordable. It's easy to set up simply by snapping one of the side brushes on, turn on and plug in the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps required to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. You'll need to leave the dock near a power outlet and enough space to allow it to move around however.
The G30 is a small device that measures 2.85 inches in height, meaning it is able to be placed under most couches and pieces of low-clearance furniture. Its design isn't as ostentatious in comparison to other models. It features a sleek black finish and three physical buttons for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs an area in a spiral pattern for two minutes), Recharge, and Spot Cleaner. You can also link the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to do unscheduled cleaning with voice commands.
The way that the G30 cleans is what differentiates it from other models.
click the following internet page uses an integrated map to make an image of the immovable items in its path. It can remember the items it has cleaned and where it cannot access. It automatically returns to the base to recharge and then continues cleaning where it left off.
The elegant G30 has a few flaws. The iRobot Roomba is built better and has lower recurring costs. It charges faster, has the same battery life and performs better on unfinished floors or low-pile carpet. It also comes with a larger dust bin that doesn't have to be empty as often and comes with a set of boundary strips to keep it away from certain areas. The G30 is less expensive and easier to maintain. Its smaller dust canister doesn't need emptying as often and it struggles less with bulky materials like cereal.
