Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

If you've ever wanted to purchase a robot vacuum, now's your chance. CNET's best-rated models will be on sale for Black Friday and Cyber Monday with discounts as high as 57%..

The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping, with apps-based no-go zones. its 180-minute runtime is awe-inspiring. It also self-empties and automatically refills its water tank.

1. iRobot Roomba j7+

The Roomba J7+ is iRobot's most intelligent robot vacuum to date. The most significant innovation, however, is its camera-based obstacle detection system. It makes use of AI to recognize objects like charging cords and shoes. It's also the first to automatically send you a picture of any object it encounters to let you know to stay clear of it in the future.

The Combo j7+ is also the most effective mop-bot we've ever tested, removing spills and dirt with ease and leaving no trace that it was there. It's simple to control via the iRobot Home app, which allows you to schedule cleaning and set up Keep Out Zones to make sure it doesn't vacuum areas you don't want it to. It's also compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can control it from start to stop using your voice.

Its design is also superior to the rest, with a sleek top piece that appears more like a toy robot than a loud, obnoxious one. Clean Base's Automatic Dirt Disposal It also self-empties which can cut down on cleaning time.

In our tests, we found that the j7+ swiftly removed dust, dirt, and hair from pets. The counter-rotating rubber brushes held the debris in its place instead of scattering it across the floor. It was able to capture small gravel, sand and even a bit of grit. The majority of robots cannot achieve this feat. It did all this without getting tangled in our pet's hair.

Although it's not as smart as the Roomba s9+ Auto-Emptying Vacuum, which isn't able to clean stairs The j7+ is still an excellent choice for those who need mopping and a vacuum in their home. It's not too expensive and the iRobot App makes it simple to use.

While the iRobot Home app is very easy to use however, we've found it to be less reliable than other apps that use robotic cleaners. It can take a while to download updates, and at times it's difficult to know if the update is actually working until you see it in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

When you're looking for an automated vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean floors, your most effective option is likely to be one that is a hybrid. This type of robot typically includes a built-in water tank which means they can vacuum and mop your house simultaneously. They also have a range of additional features, such as smart mapping, small obstacles avoidance and even the ability to dry and wash mopping pads. The downside is that they tend to be expensive when purchased at full retail, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they are often reduced in price.

Roborock makes some of our favorite robotic vacuums, and the Q5+ doesn't perform to the standards. This is the least expensive model in their auto-empty line. Although it doesn't include some of the premium features (like no-go zones or multi-story memories) however, it's a great choice when you're willing to make some compromises to save a few dollars.

The Q5+ is noticeable gentle around obstacles like tables and walls and walls, which makes it a great option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in cleaning dust bunnies. This is an area that many robot vacuums that are less expensive do not excel in. The technology for navigation in the Q5+ is superb as well, with only a few missing in corners and along walls.

Like other Roborock devices as well, the Q5+ can be controlled with a handful of buttons on the device or through the Roborock app. The app lets you start and stop cleanings. You can also set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go zones and adjust your home map, or re-label rooms.

If you decide to go with the Q5+, it ships with a new auto-empty dock specifically designed to make the machine easy to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver however, once it's in place, emptying the bin can be accomplished without difficulty. It also has a large LCD display that is great to have when creating schedules or changing settings. This feature isn't essential for most people but it can help you easily keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a sophisticated well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of both mopping and vacuuming. Its design and function are some of the best on the market however it's expensive.

It's a small base station that looks beautiful and is able to be concealed when not in use. But smart robot selling factor is its ability to automate numerous tasks and functions that other robots will leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which many other robots require you to do) also emptying the dustbin after vacuuming, and ensures that your robot clean and charged.

Its vacuuming performance is quite impressive as well. It's the only robovac that I've tried that does well at picking up debris from bare floors. And it's not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.

The Freo X Ultra is not without flaws, especially when it comes to navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs. This means it is prone to getting stuck or get confused in certain corners or rooms in the house. It's also not able to climb stairs as well as other competitors and doesn't come with a dock that can create a cleaning area for carpets that are soft.

Although it doesn't have as many in terms of cleaning-related options in its app or as many shortcuts in the app as some other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still a top choice for those looking for a comprehensive mop and vacuum cleaner that's worth the premium price price.

If you're looking for a way to save money or aren't concerned about the limitations of the robot, there are many other options on the market. Many eufy models cost substantially less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for example, is cheaper and offers a similar in-app experience with additional features such as stairs, a fully-function dock, and superior overall performance when vacuuming floors as well as high and low-pile carpets.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

eufy is an Anker company with a history of producing robot vacuums that have the right balance of features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning on hard and carpet flooring, and mopping functions for a low cost. It's simple to set up simply by snapping one of the side brushes on, switch it on, and plug it into the charging dock. The app guides you through several steps to connect it to your Wi-Fi, and the G30 is ready to go. You'll need to place the dock close to an electrical outlet and ample space to allow it to move around however.

The G30 is a compact device, measuring 2.85 inches in height, which means it will fit under most couches and low-clearance pieces of furniture. Its design is less ostentatious compared to some rival models. It features a sleek black finish with three physical buttons for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs the area in a spiral fashion over two minutes), Recharge and Spot Cleaner. It is also possible to connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to use voice commands to do unscheduled cleaning.

The primary aspect that sets the G30 apart from its competitors is the method it cleans. It uses a built-in mapping to create an image of the non-movable objects that are in its path and then keeps track of what it has already cleaned and the areas it's not able to access. It then returns to the base to recharge and continues cleaning the area it left.

The eufy G30 has its flaws however. The iRobot Roomba 675 is much better built, incurs lower recurring expenses, charges faster and offers similar battery life while offering better performance on bare floors and carpets with a low pile. It has a larger dust bin that doesn't require more emptying. It also comes with border strips that block it from certain areas. The G30 is more affordable and simpler to maintain. Its smaller dust container doesn't need emptying as often and is less prone to suffocating bulky material such as cereal.
