While robots won't be able to substitute for a conventional vacuum in removing dirt-in particles like metal screws or chunks of orzo pasta, they're great at sweeping dust, crumbs and hair from pets. Whether you're expanding your collection of robot vacuums, or just beginning your journey using one, the Q5 Pro is a great choice. It packs a lot of power, advanced navigation and a user-friendly automation into a slick design for a reasonable price. It's the best pound-for-pound model currently available and is even better than Roborock's higher-priced models in a variety of ways.

This robot is great in cleaning floors that are not clean and its avoidance technology assists it in staying away from furniture legs and other obstacles. It also performs well on carpets and scores an excellent score in our tests on navigation. It's only downside is that it's more noisy than other models and doesn't perform as well in our owner-satisfaction and predicted reliability tests.

The Q5 Pro has a very large 770ml dust bin that means you don't have to empty it as often as some other 2-in-1 robots. The Q5 Pro's 240-minute run time is also impressive when contrasted with other 2-in-1 robots that we tested. When the battery is running low, it returns automatically to its dock, where it recharges before resuming cleaning from where it began.
