2. iRobot Roomba i7+

The iRobot i7+ is a top model from iRobot’s flagship line and comes with the latest technology. It's self-charging and self-navigating. the most important feature of all -- it has self-emptying bins that eliminate one of the primary sources of maintenance for any robot vacuum.

The i7+ is quicker and more agile in our tests than the eufy RoboVac G30. It also cleaned large pet hair pieces from any surface, including carpeting. Its main advantage over the eufy, though it self-empties its dust bin that eliminates a major source of maintenance and reduces the amount of time spent cleaning.

We were also awestruck by the i7+'s compatibility Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services, which we used to instruct the robot to start, stop or pause its cleaning session and to move around the room and vacuum a specific space. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ with these services. Once connected to these services, we were able use the i7+'s voice commands such as "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home App also offers options to manage i7+ settings and evaluating performance.

3. Dyson Cyclone V10

This tiny Dyson model is an all-sports car in a world of vacuums with cords that feel like minivans and buses. The biggest issue with the V10 is its sluggish run time. Its claims on the market that it has up to 60 minutes of running time are not true, as CR's testing shows. This is a typical, not an exceptional, time to run a battery-powered cordless vac. This is enough time to vacuum the average-sized home but not enough to reach every area. (A second time usually works). This model has its own advantages however: it's lighter and more mobile than previous Dysons cordless models, and its vacuuming ability is noticeable superior on low-pile floor carpet.

This feature allows you to check in on pets or children when you're away from home. The filter and dustbin can be cleaned for quick, painless cleanup.
