Vacuuming With a Robot Hoover is the Best Hands-Off Model We've Tested
This top-of-the-line Eufy bot is the top hands-off model we've tested so far. It vacuums, mop, self-empties, and washes and dry mop pads without you having to do anything.

Vacuuming
Vacuuming with a robot hoover is a fast, simple way to keep your floors looking and feeling clean. But, you should choose a model that has excellent navigation and obstacle detection so that it won't get stuck down the stairs or beneath furniture.
Certain models are better at removing pet hair from carpets than others, which is why it's also important to choose the right model that will efficiently and effectively clean all types of flooring. Find a robot that has a large dust bin that will hold a lot of dirt in between emptyings, and a nozzle which doesn't lose suction when it rotates.
Most robots require little to no maintenance other than removing tangled hair from the rotating brush (and wiping its sensors or cameras, when needed) after every cleaning session, and then emptying the trash bin or an auto-emptying base, in the event that the robot has one. If you follow these easy maintenance steps, your robot vacuum will last the same amount of time as a traditional vacuum, and will help keep your home looking cleaner for longer.

The Combo J9+, as an example, is among the top mopping robots we've tested and uses an impressively large dock that can accommodate up to 60 days of dirt. This is a huge improvement over the Qrevo Pro, which ran out of water after mopping 30 days' worth of dirt in our tests.
The Tapo RV30 Plus from networking giant TP Link is a fantastic two-in-one. It's quiet and compact and has a clean, fuss-free appearance. In our test rooms, it cleaned the floors thoroughly and accurately - it was particularly good on rugs, but it required several runs to completely remove soiled areas from wood. Its LIDAR navigation is very effective, too. It prevents hitting furniture and running over power cables.
It's a little slow on the stairs however, that's to be expected from a compact robot designed to tackle obstacles. Its only downside is its mopping pad attachment, which was a challenge and didn't stay in its place during our tests. It also lacks the ability of dealing with dust that has dried on and dust, which makes it more like an ordinary vacuum cleaner than a robot mop.

A smartphone app can also allow you to set up virtual barriers and no-go zones to shield your robot from potentially dangerous objects such as cords, pet water bowls, and sharp objects. Certain models let you create these virtual barriers using laser navigation sensors, and others have small physical boundaries or barriers to place wherever you'd like to block off your floor area.
There are still risks to be aware of, even though the best robot vacuums can recognize and maneuver around obstacles. For
