It is very quick and does a great job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It vacuums the carpeted rooms extremely quickly and hardwood floors in the living room, and hallways in a single pass. The suction motor's 8,000pa makes short work of picking up sand, dirt and pet hair. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it comes in contact with carpets and the dual side brushes help pull out dirt from corners.

The mopping performance, while still impressive, is not as effective. The rotating mop spins fast and uses 2.2lbs to scrub dirt and stains. I've also noticed that the front arms extend out slightly more than other robots, which can be helpful for getting into tight corners and along baseboards. The same front arms can also be used to pick up larger pieces of debris, like books and broken toys.

Another good thing is that the S1 Pro is one of the quietest robot vacuums and mops I've ever tried. It is quieter and doesn't create more noise when mopping or vacuuming. You'll have to manually switch between the two, which isn't too bad except for the fact that mopping pads aren't washed and dried between uses and can cause mildew or mold.
