Best Robot Vacuums and Mop Systems

This robot vacuum-mop is an excellent option for people who live in flats as it carries the rubbish away in its own bin and uses a smaller docking station. The app lets you choose different modes and monitor cleaning and mopping. The mopping function is impressive.

Its mapping and obstacle avoidance are impressive, and it mops very well and removes pet hair, spills and dirt. It also self-empties, self-cleans and re-fills its tank.

Roomba Combo from iRobot

The iRobot Combo includes mopping in addition to the already impressive vacuuming capabilities of the robot. The iRobot Combo doesn't quite replace our Editors' Choice winner, the Deebot X1 Omni. It is more efficient at cleaning, and comes with an app that's mobile and easier to use, but it's a good alternative. In our tests it was able to pick up dirt of all sizes and types from hard floors and carpets. Its obstacle avoidance system isn't the most advanced in the world, and isn't equipped with structured light and other technologies like LiDAR, yet it was able to avoid most collisions with furniture and other clutter.

The Combo includes many of the same smarts that the J7 Plus includes, such as an onboard acoustic sensor to determine the type of floor and AI-powered Navigation. However, it lacks the ability set suction power by hand. It's also a little smaller than its vac-only counterpart, and doesn't come with a self-empty dock.

The Combo is one of my top choices for homes with a lot of space. Its elegant design is also one of the most attractive I've seen in the market. The matte black finish is more sophisticated than the glossy or metallic finishes of most competitors. iRobot also adds some classier touches, such as a leather tab for opening the bin on board and a shelf that can hold bags in the dock. The iRobot Combo also allows you to easily create maps of your home, and to create Keep-Out Zones and No-Mop Zones and Clean Zones.

Roborock

Roborock, a relatively new player in the robotic vacuum and mop market, has already established itself with an array of cutting-edge cleaning technologies. Its vacuums boast industry-leading suction capabilities, while the mopping systems of the brand feature vibrating mops that scrub floors to remove dirt. You can also alter the bot's cleaning routine by using a variety of scheduling and mapping features.

Another impressive Roborock feature is obstacle avoidance which allows the robot to see objects lower than its height. This is particularly useful for the most well-known Roborock models, such as the Qrevo Master, which is top of its class in terms of navigation, courtesy of both vSLAM and LiDAR. Other robovacs have been often seen to crash into furniture and run over pet faeces without noticing however the Qrevo Master solves this problem with an AI system called Reactive that uses twin cameras to perceive objects in the room.

Roborock robots are equipped with a variety of convenience features to cut down on maintenance. They include docks that are automatically empty, and mop washing stations with multiple functions. They can eliminate the need to manually empty bins and wash mops, which makes for a truly hands-off ownership experience. The app is easy to use due to its simple design and lag-free connection to the robot.

Hobot Legee D8

Hobot Legee, with its broad variety of cleaning features integrated and advanced mopping features, is one of the best robot vacuums/mops that can be used on wet and dry floors. Its advanced navigation system blends 5 technologies to plan and execute a route that is the most efficient. It can also detect different flooring materials and identify obstacles with pinpoint accuracy. It can even lift its own 7mm to glide over carpets. The smart spray system uses the appropriate amount of water to remove stains without leaving unsightly water marks.

The Legee is an Gen 4 robot that competes directly with the Eufy Robovac X9 and Ecovacs Deebot T20, both of which cost more. It is more advanced that include a swivel D-shaped robot that can clean corners and under cabinets more effectively than a round model. Its sensors include 360deg 3D (Lidar, Encoder, Gyro E-compass, and Encoder) four forward-facing and one right-side-facing FDS (IR ToF sensors for distance) and two Cliff detectors, front and back (most robots only have one pair). The system also has Legee SLAM, which helps to eliminate the bump-and-grind issues that cause problems for Gen 4 robots.

In contrast to other robots, unlike other robots, the Legee comes with a built-in trash compactor and supports the less noisy 5 GHz Wi-Fi band. The LuLu mop washing station is included and washes, refills and dries your mop 'cloth. The mop can be used up to six times longer than other mops. It also reduces the amount of waste and frequency with which bins are emptied.

Karcher RCV 5

Popular for its pressure washers and garden tools, Karcher has been dabbling in robot vacuums for a time and this is their most advanced model. It creates maps for your home with LiDAR, and can be programmed to vacuum or mop. It can also distinguish between hard floors and carpets to ensure that you don't end up with water puddles on your pile.

Its navigation is excellent that can avoid carpets or furniture with ease. It can even lift itself up over steps. The machine is customizable by adjusting different settings, such as cleaning schedules as well as the rooms it should clean. It has an 'emergency button' that will force the robot to return home in the event that its power runs out. It can be set to shut off automatically when an approaching storm is detected.

breaking news is very easy to use and, despite being heavy at almost 4kg, you shouldn't have any trouble maneuvering it around furniture. Children with small hands will appreciate the safety features such as sensors that warn it to avoid the stairs. Once fully charged it will take just a few hours to recharge and the two buttons on top will blink green to indicate that it is ready to go.

Mova E30 Ultra

The Mova E30 Ultra robot vacuum cleaner balances advanced technology with a low price. It's a direct competitor to models such as the Dreame L10 Ultra and Roborock's Q Revo. Despite its less expensive price it is worth the price. Mova E30 Ultra offers features that more expensive models can't beat. It utilizes sensors to alter the settings for various floors and surfaces, as well as to find areas with dirtier surfaces. It can also move slower to avoid damaging furniture or walls.

You can also see the map of your home within the app. You can also mark out certain rooms and objects you want to keep out of the way. The device will slow down when it sees an obstacle, and will stop from hitting it. The device is also equipped with an intelligent dustbin, that alerts you of its fullness so that you can empty the bin on time.

The Mova E30 Ultra offers a cost-effective solution for those who want to delegate their cleaning chores. It's a robotic mop and vacuum that will clean your floors without you having to lift a single finger. It features a clever design which improves the cleaning of corners by as much as 60%. It comes with a suction capacity of up to 7,000 Pa and a RoboSwing arm, and is controlled by the app or voice assistants such as Alexa or Siri.

Beko RCV3

The Beko Robotic Vacuum/Mop RCV3 an elegant, feature-packed vacuum/mop. It does an outstanding job of keeping floors tidy and clean. While it's not able to raise its mop on carpets and rugs as the winning Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra it's very good at both cleaning hard floors and taking on mopping tasks with a remarkable speed. It also comes with an auto-emptying bin, provides a good level of suction power, provides a number of mopping options, and is controlled by a top-quality app that is compatible with both iOS and Android.

It's smaller than the competition, and its main brush is shorter than others, but it did a great job of making short work of our test area effortlessly. The edge brush that rotates on the side is a nice addition. Although it didn't get rid of dirt as well as other competitors, it did a great job.

The robot can be programmed with individual cleaning parameters for each room. It then creates detailed maps using the built-in LiDAR navigation. It's simple to control through the app and a range of voice output options can keep you informed of the state of your home robot. Regular updates to the software can improve and enhance its performance. The app can also be used to remotely manage the RCV3 when you're away from home.
