Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customised using a specialized app to save maps of your home setting cleaning schedules, and choose mopping modes. They also let you change suction power and fine-tune the amount of water and the scrubbing action of your mop.
A mapping function helps your robot navigate around rooms. A feature to avoid obstacles prevents it from running over wires, furniture, or stray toys. These features are crucial in my home that is filled with toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the flagship mop and vacuum, which is why it is naturally with a host of features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and even lift its brushes or mop pads so that soft surfaces don't get too wet. It can also stay clear of obstacles by finding pets, plants, and other small objects.
The robotic vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is higher than any other robot vac we've tested to date. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation to track its location, which prevents it from getting stuck on objects.
The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can continuously apply pressure to the pad of more than 6 Newtons to give a thorough clean. It also comes with an automatic mop lifting mechanism, which will lift the pad when it goes from laminate to tile or hardwood to carpets and rugs to prevent getting soaked by these soft surfaces.
In addition it is also the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be cleaned and then dried with the dock and the dust bin is automatically empty and returned to it. You can set it and forget about it. You only need to refill the water tank, or change the dust bag every now and then.
All this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I used it on its normal vac and mop settings for approximately 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to be power-deficient and returned to its base for a recharge. This isn't too far off of the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is in line with other hybrids I've tested.
It's a comprehensive, reliable product. The only drawback is that it's expensive. But, the sheer number of features makes it a very tempting option for anyone who wants to get rid of their old stick vacuums and mops. If you can afford the price, we highly recommend checking this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium combination. The price is justified by the powerful features, such as a huge vacuuming capacity and two mop heads that gyrate. It also comes with an app-based controller that is smart and powerful obstacle avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 euros, which is among the highest robotic vacuum and mop combos on the market. In my tests, it performed well in all areas of the home, removing 98.4 percent of the debris on all types of floors and able to lift long hair without getting caught in. The mops also performed admirably, achieving excellent cleaning results with less effort than many mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational motion and the powerful cleaning solution.
However, the L10S Ultra's real highlight is its docking station that is multi-functional. The dock emptys its dust bin into dirt bag, then refills its water tank for mopping and dries its mop pads for you. It features a real-time risk detection system, and its sophisticated controls let you schedule regular cleaning sessions.
The L10S Ultra does not offer superior carpet debris removal performance when compared to the other hybrid mop I tested. The mops on the L10S Ultra aren't as effective in removing tough stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
In spite of the L10S Ultra's numerous premium features, it requires regular care and maintenance. Its base station has to be cleaned as well as the dustbag and water tanks must be emptied, cleaned and dried regularly to avoid mildew and unpleasant odors. It is also important to note that the mop pads which are bought separately will need to be replaced on a regular basis too.
With the L10S Ultra's high-end cost and robust features I would recommend it to anyone with the money for it. If you're on a tight budget I would suggest a less basic model that allows you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. Even if the L10S Ultra was the best vacuum and robotic mop you could find however, its cost and constant maintenance will make it more of an option than a necessity.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're in search of a robot mop and vacuum that will remove dust and dirt on your hard floors while taking care of wet mess take a look at the Eufy S1 Pro. This high-powered mop and robot vacuum combo comes with an impressive 8,000 Pa of suction power as well as a massive battery capacity for both mowing and vacuuming and a top-of-the-line obstacle avoidance. It has a roller-mop that is self-cleaning, making it stand out among other models which require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a significant contrast to the microfiber pads and spinning discs used in other robots. The roller is almost entire length of the bot and is continuously supplied with ozonated, clean water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while taking in dirt. Any dry debris is swept away with the side brushes, or swept up into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro dumps mop water that is dirty into its base station where it is sucked in by the tank's heater elements and emptied into a larger storage container.
best robot vacuum holds a decent amount of water, and it can handle about half a dozen mopping sessions before running dry.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use straight out of the box as do other robotic vacuums/mops. It must be filled with clean water, but this is simple to do in the cleaning dock. If you'd like to use your own cleaner you can include a cleaning solution to dock. If you decide to use this feature however, you'll need to buy the Eufy-branded cleaning solution which is more expensive than other robot brands, allowing you to choose your preferred brand of cleaning solutions.
Like many robots that are available, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. It was quick to map out a area and moved around furniture. It was stuck on carpets with longer piles several times during my tests. However it could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that has a lot of functionality at affordable prices.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum, but it still has several impressive features. Its multi-function dock drains the robot's dirtbag and refills its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing the mop pads as they go. The mopping system is able to sweep a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's powerful suction is perfect for picking up pet hair and debris on carpets.
The app that runs this appliance is fairly dense, with a wide range of options to customize the cleaning process. You can set it up manually to start an entire map and clear everything that's been that the device maps, or you can choose specific rooms, expandable zones, or even a routine that you've created. There are many mopping options that include SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the mops' sensors to determine the most efficient method to clean your home as it maps the space.
Like all the Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo does well in our tests. Its navigation system is robust, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in a neat fashion. Its 'Normal" pathing option covers the room thoroughly, without any major gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is quite reliable, too however it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can identify dangers like thick carpets, but it may not always be able to detect smaller items like rug tassels, or electrical wires.
One of the biggest flaws of this device is the absence of a mop after vacuum option that could be a problem for people who spend a lot of time vacuuming prior to cleaning with their robot. There's an easy solution: The app offers an option that allows you to "clean up" at the conclusion of each vacuuming session. This lets you utilize the vacuum's mopping capability to eliminate the last remnants of debris and dust that you've left behind from your vacuuming. This is a great feature that helps this robot to clean up a bit better than its cheaper competitors.
