Anna discovered that the CoZee could provide a safe, comfortable sleeping space for her infant. She was delighted that it didn't rock like some other models, meaning it didn't wake her up at night when she was trying to soothe her baby for feedings. She also appreciated that the side of the chair could be lowered so she didn't have to reach over her partner to lift the child to feed her at night.
The CoZee is available in oak and charcoal and was a stylish addition to the bedroom. It looks more like a designer piece than some of the other cribs we've tried, which appear quite utilitarian. The Iora is a bassinet for the bed that allows parents to feel more connected to their infant as they sleep. It can be adjusted both up and down and shifted through three different slide positions to be placed beside the bed of the parent or in the corner so the baby is always within reach. The breathable mesh siding allows air to flow through, and gives you a quick glance at your little one. You can also keep any extra pajamas or items in the large storage basket beneath.
In contrast to other bedside cribs The Iora folds flat and comes with a travel bag so that it can be carried anywhere. It was easy to move around from room to room and our mom testers thought it was the perfect size for a bedside crib. The large storage basket is perfect for storing extra bedding or nappies.
This is an excellent choice for parents looking to co-sleep, but do not want to share their beds or whose partners may be prone to mobility issues, such as arthritis or back issues. Our mum testers loved that they could easily access their baby while in the Iora and that it included an option to have a reflux incline which helped reduce gas.
Our moms are also thrilled that it meets NICE guidelines which state that you should place the infant in a crib or Moses basket on its own (with no toys, blankets pillows, etc.). They also state that the mattress is firm and comfortable for the baby and easy to find sheets for. It's not as light as some of the smaller cribs on our list, so if you prefer something lighter and easier to move, choose another option.
