Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot vacuum and mop combinations can be customized with a specialized application. You can save maps of your home as well as set up cleaning schedules and select mopping modes. You can also adjust the suction power, and how much water your mop consumes.
A mapping function will help your robot navigate around rooms. A feature for avoiding obstacles prevents it from running over furniture, wires, or stray toys. These are essential features to have in my house, stuffed with strewn-about toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the company's flagship mop and vacuum, which is why it is naturally packed with features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and even lift its mop pads or brushes to ensure that soft surfaces don't get wet. It also has the ability to see and avoid obstacles, thanks to the ability to identify pet toys plants, small objects.
The maximum suction power is 6 000 pascals. This is higher than any other robot vacuum we've examined so far. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation, which tracks its location, which prevents it from getting stuck on objects.
The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can provide constant pressure to the pad of over 6 Newtons for a thorough clean. It also comes with an automatic mop lifting system, which lifts the pad when it goes from tile to laminate hardwood, carpet and rugs to avoid the possibility of soaking these soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be cleaned and then dried with the dock, and the dust bin is automatically emptied and returned to it. This means you can just set it and forget it, only needing to replace the dust bag or refill the water tank every now and then.
All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its standard mop- and vac-settings for approximately 160 minutes before beginning to lose power and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't far off from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is on the same level as other hybrids I've tried.
It's a complete and robust product, with its only downsides being that it's costly. Its sheer number of features makes it a very attractive option for anyone looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. We would highly recommend this vacuum if you can justify its price.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a premium mop and robot vacuum. The price is justified by the powerful features, including a large vacuuming capability, as well as two gyrating mop heads. It also has an app-based, smart controller and a powerful obstacle avoidance system.
The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros which is one of the highest robotic vacuum and mop combos available. In my tests, it performed very well across the entire home. It removed 98.4% debris on all kinds of floors and was able to lift hair that was long without getting caught up in. The mops were also excellent, achieving great cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models due to their rotational motion and a strong dose of cleaning solution.
The docking station is the main selling aspect of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and advanced. The docking station emptys the trash bin into a bag to collect dirt, fills up the water tank for mopping and even dries your mop pads.
automatic hoover features a real-time risk detection system, and its smart controls allow you to schedule regular cleaning sessions.
Unlike the other hybrid vacuum mops I've tried, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris pickup performance on carpets. The mops of the L10S Ultra aren't as effective in removing tough stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features, it requires regular maintenance. To prevent the growth of mildew or unpleasant odors, the base station dustbag, water, and tanks need to be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly. The mop pads sold separately also need to be changed periodically.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the funds. If you're on a budget, I recommend a more basic model that allows you to save money and still enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. It's important to note that even the L10S Ultra is the best mop and robotic vacuum you can buy, its high purchase cost and constant maintenance will ultimately make it more of a desire than a necessity.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're in search of a robot mop and vacuum that can clean up dust and dirt on your hard floors, while cleaning up wet mess look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop set-up has a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power. It also has a huge battery capacity that can be used for mopping and vacuuming. It's also fitted with an excellent obstacle-avoidance system. It even has an automatic mop that cleans itself as it goes this makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that require users to return to their base station mid-clean to clean the mop pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a significant difference from the microfibre pads and spinning discs of other robots. The roller is almost full width of the bot and is continuously filled with ozonated, clean water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while taking in dirt. Any dry debris is swept away with the side brushes or swept up into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro then takes the mop water into its base station, which is then absorbed by the tank's heating elements and then pumped into a larger storage canister. The tank that is onboard can hold a substantial amount of water and handle up to half a dozen mopping sessions before being emptied out.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use straight out of the box as do other robotic vacuums and mops. The S1 Pro needs to be filled with clean water. This is easily done in the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock, in case you want to have the option of using your own cleaner. However, if you do choose to use this feature, you'll need to purchase the cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your personal cleaning products.
The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and navigation efficiency tests, as did most robots. It was quick to map a room, and it was able to navigate through furniture. It was stuck on carpets with larger piles a few times during my tests. However, this could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very capable all-in-one robot for affordable prices.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum, but it still has some impressive features. Its multi-function dock drains the robot's dirtbag and replenishes its water tanks, while washing and sanitizing the mop pads as it moves. The mopping system itself is capable cleaning a large portion of an area before it needs to return to its dock and the vacuum's powerful suction does a nice job of removing dirt and pet hair on carpets.
The app that runs the appliance is complex, and offers a variety of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can set it up manually to start the full map and then clear everything that's been that is mapped by the device or you can choose individual rooms, expandable zones, or even a schedule you've crafted. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mops to map the space and determine the most efficient way to clean it.
Like all the Roborock models we've examined like all the Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system works well, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning in a neat manner. Its 'Normal" pathing option covers an area well, and doesn't leave any major gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is also quite effective, though it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system found on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like thick carpets but may not be able detect smaller objects such as rug tassels and electrical wires.
One of the biggest flaws of this machine is the lack of a mop-after-vacuum option which could be a problem for people who are frequently vacuuming before cleaning with their robot. There's an easy solution: the app has an option that allows you to "clean up" at the conclusion of each session. You can make use of the vacuum's mopping capabilities to remove the dust and dirt that were left behind after vacuuming. This is a nice feature that can help this robot to clean up a bit better than its cheaper competitors.
