The majority of robot vacuum and mop combinations can be customized with an application that is specifically designed for. You can save maps of your house and set up cleaning schedules and select mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power and fine-tune the amount of water and scrubbing action your mop uses.

A mapping function can help your robot navigate through rooms. A feature to avoid obstacles helps it avoid running over furniture, wires, or stray toys. These features are crucial in my home, which is full of toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the top-of-the-line vacuum and mop, comes packed with features. It's able to both mop and sweep in a single session and even lift its brushes and mop pads to stop soft surfaces from becoming damp. It can also avoid obstacles by spotting pet toys, plants and other small objects.

The robotic vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals which is more than any other robot vacuum we've tested to date. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation to track its position, preventing it from getting stuck on objects.

The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can provide constant pressure to the pad that is more than 6 Newtons for a thorough clean. It also has an automatic mop lifting mechanism, which will lift the pad when it goes from laminate to tile hardwood, carpet and rugs, thereby avoiding getting soaked by these soft surfaces.

Additionally, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be cleaned and then dried with the dock, and the dust bin is automatically emptied and returned to it. You can set it to forget about it. You only need to replenish the water tank or replace the dust bag occasionally.

All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. I ran it on its normal mop and vac settings for around 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to be power-deficient and then return to its base for a recharge. This isn't that far from the 180 minutes Roborock claims, and is on the same level with other hybrids I've tested.

It's a well-rounded, capable product. The only issue is that it's expensive. The number of features make it a very attractive option for anyone who is looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. If you are able to justify the hefty price tag, we highly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop combo. The high price is justified by the powerful features, such as a huge vacuuming capacity and two mop heads that gyrate. It comes with an app-enabled smart controller as well as powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop sets available at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it did well in all areas of the home, removing 98.4 percent of debris from all types of floors and able to lift long hair without knots. The mops also performed admirably, achieving excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational movement as well as the powerful cleaning solution.

However, the L10S Ultra's real selling point is its innovative docking station that is multi-functional. The dock emptys its dust bin into dirt bag, then refills its water tank for the mopping function and even dries its mop pads for you. It has a real-time hazards detection system, and its intelligent controls allow you to schedule regular cleaning sessions.

Contrary to the other hybrid mops I've test The L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced dirt pickup on carpets. The mops in the L10S Ultra are not as effective at removing stubborn stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

In spite of the L10S Ultra's premium features, it requires regular care and maintenance. Its base station has to be emptied as well as the dustbag and water tanks should be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly to prevent mildew and unpleasant odors. The mop pads sold separately also require replacement every few months.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the money. If you're on a budget, I suggest an easier model that allows you to save money while still enjoying the convenience of hands-free cleaning at home. Even it were the case that the L10S Ultra was the best robotic mop and vacuum combination you could buy, its high cost and constant maintenance would make it more an item to have than one that you actually need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're in search of a robot mop and vacuum that will clean up dust and dirt on your hard floors, while taking care of wet messes, then look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac and mop combo packs an impressive 8,000 Pa of suction power, an impressively large battery that can be used for mopping and vacuuming and a top-of-the-line obstacles-avoiding. It even comes with mop rollers that clean itself as it goes this makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that require users to return to their base station mid-cleaning to rinse off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a big difference from the microfibre pads and spinning discs of other robots. The roller is almost entire width of the robot and is continuously dosed with clean, ozonated water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while taking in dirt. Dry debris is removed using the side brushes, or swept away into the front bumper. The S1 Pro removes the dirty mop water in its base station, where it is sucked by the tank's heater elements and empty into a larger storage container. The tank that is onboard holds a good amount of water, and it can handle a half dozen mopping sessions before running dry.

As with most robotic vacuums and mop sets like the S1 Pro is ready to roll out from the box. It will need to be filled with clean water, however this is easy to do by cleaning the dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock in case you want to have the option of using your own brand of cleaner. If you choose this feature, however, you will be required to purchase the Eufy brand cleaning solution, which is more costly than other robot brands that allow you to choose your preferred brand of cleaning solutions.

The S1 Pro performed well in the navigation efficiency and coverage tests, as did most robots. It was quick to map a room and it was able to navigate through furniture. It was stuck on carpets with larger piles a couple of times during my tests. However, this could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that provides lots of features at affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's cheapest mop and vacuum. However, homepage offers some impressive features. The multi-function dock emptys the robot's dirtbag and replenishes its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing mop pads as it moves. The mopping system can be able to clean a large area prior to returning to its dock. The vacuum's extreme suction is ideal for removing pet hair and debris on carpets.


The software that runs the appliance is complex, and offers a variety of options for customizing the cleaning process. It can spot the dangers of carpets that are thick, but it may not always recognize smaller things like rug tassels, or electrical wires.

The most obvious flaw with this machine is the lack of a mop after vacuum option which could be a problem for those who do a lot of vacuuming before cleaning their robot. There's a simple solution: the app has an option that lets you "clean up", at the end of each session. This allows you to use the vacuum's mopping capability to get rid of the last traces of debris and dust left behind by your vacuuming. This is a nice feature that can help this robot clean a little better than its less expensive competitors.
