Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop

If you need to clean up messes quickly and efficiently, a robot vacuum and mop is the way to go. The best robot vacs and mops I've tested are top-quality in navigation and mapping and are able to pick up Cheerios wires, tangled wires and fake dog turds, without leaving them behind.

They're also easy to use with an application that lets you plan cleaning tasks and see what they're working on.

1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra

If you're searching for the most effective robot vacuum and mop combination with bleeding-edge features, consider the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This high-end model is incredibly swift and agile, picking up debris like hair from pets and human hair with a near perfect accuracy in our Debris Pickup Test. It comes with a sleek application interface with a miniature map of your home and buttons on the screen to allow manual control.

Another noteworthy feature of the S8 is its ability to alter its cleaning mode based on the amount of dirt it encounters thanks to its Dirt Detection technology. It will clean its mopping pads more often when it encounters dust. Carpeted areas are given priority for mopping using mopping pads that are damp.

It comes with a range of other smart features too, including an alternative dock that connects to the plumbing in your home to wash and clean the mop roller without needing refilling it manually. You can also use voice commands with the built-in voice assistant that can be activated by saying "Hey Rocky" to specify rooms cleaning, modes and granular controls using just your voice.

2. Yeedi Cube

The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those seeking a hands free robot vacuum with mopping capabilities. It's among the many combination robot vacuums that have mops that are also offered at a lower price than competitors.

As with most robovacs the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get started. This involves establishing an app account and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once that's done, though the robot can begin cleaning and mopping easily.

It is important to remember that the mapping process may take a while, and the Yeedi Cube may need a couple of attempts before it can get an accurate image of your living space. In addition the object detection is difficult to determine and it was able to skim over furniture and other obstacles, but was stuck on a looser tassel rug and had to flip itself over to free itself. But these are minor flaws, and the Yeedi Cube is still a great option for those who need an all-in-one cleaning companion.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete provides a three-in-one cleaning solution. Its mopping technology is advanced and features a rotating motion like hand scrubbing which results in floors that are genuinely cleaned, not just cleaned. Its detachable stick-vacuum is a game-changer that allows you to reach spots even robot vacuums can't.

This model is basically the same as the popular X2 Omni, but with a slightly higher suction power of 8700Pa and some additional smart features. The RGBD sensor upgrade can learn your home's surroundings and provide dynamic obstacles avoidance. And the smart app lets you customize the settings of your choice, including scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo is also self-prepping, with both the robot vacuum as well as the mop returning to their charging base after each task to clean their pads, empty their dust bins and place debris into the self-sealing bags. This helps to keep the system tidy and stops allergens from circulating. The battery life is long enough to clean large areas without requiring the battery to be charged mid-clean.

4. Eufy S1 Pro

The Eufy S1 Pro is a high-end robot vacuum and mop that has impressive features for an affordable price. It is equipped with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power and a rotating brush that is ideal for hard and carpet floors, and great obstacle-avoiding. It also features a unique mopping method that uses a roller constantly sprayed with water to collect dirt and deposit it in the water tank.

Its navigation system was efficient. It avoided the stairs and was able to navigate close to walls without crashing. It was unable to handle small particles and did not always clear the thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise level is also very high, which means this model may not be as simple to set and forget as others.

The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, is equipped with docking technology that allows it to replenish its clean water tank, empty the dustbin, wash and dry the mop, and then empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance easy and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in line with a regular schedule. Eufy's app allows you to manage all the functions. It provides a clear overview with plenty of configuration options.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is one of the best robot mowers available, and it provides an impressive mix of mopping and vacuuming performance. best budget robot vacuum for mapping can identify furniture legs, obstacles, and other obstacles with a reasonable accuracy. The app allows users to fine-tune the map coverage, set up no-go zones, or alter the cleaning preferences. The Freo's brush is specifically designed to prevent hair from wrapping itself around it. This is a major problem with many robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode is impressive too and comes with Reuleaux triangular mop pads that spin at 180 RPM and exert up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system also incorporates intelligent carpet detection, lifting these pads upwards when they're close to soft surfaces to avoid contaminating the carpet.

The all-in-one docking station serves as a hands-free maintenance centre which is capable of automatically drying and washing the mops before refilling them with detergent and water. The base station also comes with integrated dust processing that compacts dust over 7 weeks of hassle-free operation unlike conventional robot vacuums which empty their dust bins every time they have to be empty.

6. S10

This robot is only a few hundred dollars more than the S8 and does an excellent job of keeping my home office clean. It can also reach all corners of my small apartment. It makes use of laser mapping and a camera to make an outline of your area which allows it to know which areas to avoid. And, unlike many vacuums that have mopping capabilities, it has object/obstacle detection that avoids things like bowls and dog toys (but not poop).

Other fantastic features include a self-emptying dustbin, a mop that is self-washing and adjustable for water temperature and an extended side-reaching brush that is able to reach areas that other mops miss. You can also adjust the settings for each room, and set up cleaning schedules.

It has the same multi-room smart mapping feature as the S8 and can distinguish between laminate and carpets with high-pile rug. If you're looking to cut down on time, it can skip mopping in rooms that aren't soiled. If you have several types of flooring in your home and don't want to invest extra money on a Roborock that has advanced mapping features this is a great option.

7. Q5 Pro

If you're looking for a versatile robot vacuum and mop that is able to handle regular maintenance and touch-ups on messy messes that are wet, this robot is a good choice. It comes with a wide range of features that include a self-emptying dustbin, a separate dock for refilling water, and adjustable settings through the app. It's quite quiet, and it's able to maneuver around furniture legs and socks with ease. It's unable to pick up the tangled tassels of a rug and it drains its battery more quickly than other models we test.

The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerful unit that offers an impressive suction and easy automation in a sleek design. It didn't score quite as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests as the expensive Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra however it did extremely well overall. It has a range of cleaning modes, from the low power 'Quiet mode for light debris to the more powerful 'Turbo mode' for carpeted areas. It also has the capability to automatically remove and reattach its mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum cleaner that can be used even in small spaces. It's very quiet and fast, and it is a great choice for maneuvering around tight spaces. It also does a very good job of removing pet hair out of carpeting.

It's smaller than its rivals however it doesn't sacrifice any features. It has a decent suction capacity and can be configured to take pictures of each object it finds (i.e. chew toys socks, chew toys), and mark them in the app as 'not found' to ensure that they will not be taken up in subsequent cleanings. auto vacuum cleaner are secure, and aren't tied to your account.

It does a great job of vaccuming but isn't quite as efficient at mopping. It makes use of disposable wet wipes you clip onto the bot's bottom, and then it drags them around the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal which have reservoirs of water, and can automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
