She liked the way it was positioned in her bedroom and believed its gray color would be appropriate for the majority of modern homes. She did mention that it's not an ideal idea to rock a baby younger because it can create an unfavourable sleep pattern for later.

The Tutti Bambini CoZee

The Tutti Bambini CoZee is an award-winning bedside crib that was designed to ensure a peaceful night's sleep in mind. It has a drop-side rail that is able to be easily adjusted to feed your child during the night without disturbing them or forcing them out of the bed. This is great for breastfeeding mothers! It is also lightweight and easy to move around during nap time or when traveling.


It's made from soft materials and has mesh sides that breathe to increase airflow. It's available in oak and charcoal and has a variety of melange fabrics that work well with a variety of decor styles. Anna found it to be sturdy and secure when affixed to her bed with the legs securely clicking into the frame and the zips securely secured to ensure baby safety. It took Anna about 10 minutes to put it together and did not require any tools. There are clear instructions, a video and a customer support number in case you encounter any issues.

The CoZee crib has all the features you'd expect from a crib for your bed, including the ability to attach it to your bed using a stay-in place connection system. It also comes with six height settings. Additionally, there is an incline feature that can be used to help babies suffering from reflux or congestion. It can also be washed by a machine and is a must for all the dribbles and vomit that accompany a new baby!

The CoZee is a great option if you want to keep your child close during the first six months of learning to sleep independently. It can be used as a cot, changing station and toddler bed. With the addition of a sofa bed extension pack, it can be transformed into a crib. While it won't magically put your baby to sleep or feed them, it can rock the baby and take them to school.

The Chicco Next2Me Magic

This is one of Chicco's more expensive options. It does have many great features. It's simple to use even with one hand. It's also more adjustable than the predecessor, with 11 different height settings and retractable legs for a secure installation underneath any bed.

Our testers loved the easy access to the side panel that can be lowered and raised with just one push of a button. This was a huge help during night time feeds as it meant that they could easily reach in and pick up their baby without waking them.

The side panel can be removed by itself, too, but it's not recommended since it increases the risk of your child falling out of the cot. However, the safety locking mechanism means that it can only remain in place when it is attached to the bed properly. This is a wonderful feature to have in place for peace of mind, particularly if you're breastfeeding and require frequent nighttime feedings.

Telescopic legs allow the Chicco Next2Me Magic to be used with any bed, such as divan bases and beds with drawers. It's also incredibly spacious and offers excellent ventilation thanks to its mesh sides.

Our testers found the Next2Me Magic easy to set up and use, although it does come with a long instruction manual. It's a bit heavier than other side-sleepers but it's still fairly portable and can be moved from room to room with ease. It's small enough to be able to fit in a travel bag when not in use, which is an advantage if you need to transport it. The only issue our test subjects found was that the side panel didn't stretch as much as other models. This caused it to be a bit more difficult to see your baby from your bed.

The Shnuggle Air

If you're looking for an ideal bedside crib that can develop with your child, then the Shnuggle Air is definitely worth a look. It's a crib for co-sleeping that attaches securely to your bed and can be transformed into a chic cot when your baby is old enough. Perfect for nighttime feedings and enhancing the bond between you and your new born.

The Shnuggle Air crib is designed to breathe, unlike some other cribs.
