Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customized using a specialized app to save maps of your home setting cleaning schedules, and choose mopping modes. You can also adjust the suction power, as well as the amount of water the mop is using.
A mapping feature helps your robot navigate rooms and obstacles, while an obstacle avoidance feature helps it avoid hitting furniture, wires or stray pet toys. These are must-have features in my house, stuffed with toys that are scattered about.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the flagship vacuum of the company and mop, is loaded with features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and can even raise its brushes or mop pads to ensure that soft surfaces don't get too wet. It can also see and avoid obstacles, thanks to the ability to spot pets, plants and other small objects.
The robot vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is more than any other robot vac we've tested. It also has PreciSense LiDAR Navigation, which tracks its position, which prevents it from getting stuck on an object.
Its mopping functionality is also impressive and features the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply constant pressure of over 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide a deep clean. It also comes with mop lifter technology that lifts the pad automatically when it is able to switch between tile, laminate hardwood, carpet or rugs, in order to avoid soaking soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing, and self-drying features. The pad can be washed and heat-dried within the dock and the dust bin is automatically empty and returned to it. This means you can just set it and forget it, only needing to replace the dust bag or refill the water tank occasionally.
All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its normal mop and vac-settings for around 160 minutes before it began to lose power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This isn't too far from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is on par other hybrids I've tested.
This is a very robust and well-rounded product with the only drawback being the fact that it's costly. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a very appealing alternative for anyone who wishes to go away from their old stick vacuum and mop. We highly recommend this vacuum if you can justify its price.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a high-end robot vacuum and mop combo. Its high-end price is justified by its robust feature set, which includes an impressive vacuuming capacity as well as two gyrating mop mops. It also has an app-based, smart controller and a powerful obstacle avoidance system.
The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 euros, which is one of the most powerful robotic vacuums and mop combinations available. In my tests, it performed admirably across the house.
best automatic vacuum cleaner was able to eliminate 98.4% debris on any type of floor and managed to lift long hair without getting caught in. The mops were also great and produced excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models, thanks to their rotational motion and a strong dose of cleaning solution.
The L10S Ultra's real selling point is its innovative docking station that is multi-functional. The dock emptys its dustbin into dirt bag, then refills its water tank for mopping and dry the mop pads for you. It is equipped with a real-time danger detection system, and its sophisticated controls let you schedule periodic cleaning sessions.
In contrast to the other hybrid vacuum mops I've tested The L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris pickup performance on carpets. The mops in the L10S Ultra are not as effective at removing stubborn stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's high-end features, it still requires regular care and maintenance. Its base station needs to be cleaned out as well as the water tank and dust bag should be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly to prevent mildew and unpleasant odors. The mop pads that are sold separately also require replacement every few months.
With the L10S Ultra's pricey cost and robust features I would highly recommend it to anyone with the money for it. For those who are on a budget, I would suggest a less basic model that allows you to save money while still enjoying clean hands at home. It's important to note that even the L10S Ultra is the best robot vacuum and mop you can buy however, its cost and constant maintenance will eventually make it more of a wish rather than a requirement.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you require to get rid of messes and remove dirt from your floors. This powerful robovac/mop set-up comes with a powerful suction capacity of 8,000 Pa. It also boasts a huge battery capacity that can be used for vacuuming as well as mowing. It is also equipped with a top-quality obstacle-avoidance technology. It has a roller-mop that is self-cleaning, making it stand out from models that require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is different from the spinning discs and microfibre pads that are found on other robots. The roller is almost full width of the bot and is constantly filled with clean, ozonated water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while taking in dirt. Any dry debris is swept away with the side brushes or swept up into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro removes the dirty mop water in its base station where it is sucked by the tank's heater elements, and then it is emptied into a bigger storage container. The tank onboard holds a decent amount of water, and it can handle a half dozen mopping sessions before running dry.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use straight out of the box, just like most other robotic vacuums and mops. It does need to be filled with clean water, however this is easy to do in the cleaning dock. If you'd like to make use of your own cleaner, you can add cleaning solution to the dock. However, if you do opt for this feature, you'll need to purchase the brand-name cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your personal cleaner of choice.
The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and navigation efficiency tests, as did the majority of robots. It was fast to map a room and it easily navigated around furniture. It got stuck on carpets with thick piles several times during my tests. However it could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that provides a lot of functionality at affordable prices.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry level mop and vacuum cleaner but it does have some outstanding features. Its multifunction dock empties the robot's dirtbag and replenishes its water tanks, while washing and sanitizing mop pads as it moves. The mopping system is able to sweep a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's suction power is ideal for removing pet hair and other debris from carpets.
The app that runs the appliance is quite dense, with a wide choice of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start an entire map and clear everything that's been mapped by the device, or you can pick particular rooms, expandable zones, or even a routine that you've created. There are several mopping options, including SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the sensors on the mops to determine the most efficient method to clean your home as it maps the space.
The Qrevo was a great performer in our tests, just like the other Roborock models we've evaluated. Its navigation system is solid it can map rooms quickly and cleaning them in a neat way. The 'Normal" pathing option covers an area well, and doesn't leave any major gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is quite reliable, too although it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system found on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can spot the dangers of carpets that are thick but it might not always be able to detect smaller items like rug tassels or electrical wires.
One of the biggest flaws of this machine is the lack of a mop after vacuum option, which could be a problem for people who do a lot of vacuuming before cleaning their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy workaround: the app includes the option to "clean up" at the end of each session. This lets you utilize the mopping function of the vacuum to remove the last remnants of dust and debris that you've left behind from your vacuuming. It's a nice touch and helps the robot to make its clean better than its less expensive competitors.
