Best Automatic Vacuum and Mop Combos

The Narwal Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is among the most efficient combinations I've tested. Its base station comes with a large water tank and dustbin, and its double rubber brush is less likely to tangle hair than single bristles.

Its mopping performance excels and its AI mapping excels in the midst of obstacles. It can also stop the cleaning process, and then resume from where it left off.

1. Roomba Combo j9+

The Roomba Combo j9+ is one of the most sophisticated 2-in-1 mop and robot vacuum cleaners available on the market today. It comes with a sleek, self emptying Clean Base which can be used to store up to two mopping cycles. It is designed to look just like a small desk. It is also the only robot we have tested with an onboard reservoir that automatically washes and refills the cleaning pads after every vacuum and mopping cycle.

The mopping arm sits unobtrusively on top of the unit until it detects hard floors, then lowers to begin cleaning. It moves slowly over surfaces to avoid spreading wet spills or mud across carpeted areas. It also does a fantastic job of staying clear of cords, furniture, and other obstacles.

It's more intelligent than other robot vacuums, too due to the iRobot Home app, which allows you to customize the settings of your cleaner, prioritize rooms by dirtiness setting cleaning times and schedules and more. The app comes with precise maps of your home, seasonal suggestions, customized cleaning routines, as as smart home integrations that are intuitive.

The iRobot robot vac/mop utilizes the Imprint Smart Mapping Technology to detect objects like sofas, tables and counters. It can also be controlled by Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri to make cleaning your home hands-free.

The Roomba J9+ is different from other vacuum and mopping robots, creates the map of your home 7 times faster than previous models. It also categorizes each area according to floor type so that it will always remember where you want it to mop or vacuum. It also comes with a brand new Turbo Mode which boosts suction power in tough places. And with iRobot's Dirt Detective software, it will identify your habits of cleaning and preferences to automatically adjust your cleaning priorities and settings, including mop scrubbing movements, for the dirtiest parts of your home.

2. Yeedi M12 Pro+

With its premium features and user-friendly app control, the Yeedi M12 Pro+ is a strong competitor in the field of automated vacuum and mop robots. Its powerful suction power and advanced mopping technology make it the ideal cleaning partner for smart homes. Its smart automation and low cost make it a great option for families on a tight budget.

To get started with the M12, simply download and open the Yeedi app and follow the on-screen directions to connect it to your Wi-Fi network. After connecting the app will prompt you to create a unique name for your new robot. The M12 only supports 2.4GHz networks.

The M12 offers a variety of cleaning modes, including mopping and vacuuming. Its innovative design allows it to map a room in less than six minutes and then adjust its cleaning path accordingly. Its advanced mopping features include two spinning pads, as well as electronically controlled water and a "True Edge" Adaptive Edge Mopping System that ensures a thorough cleaning of all edges.

In terms of navigation In terms of navigation, the M12 makes use of LiDAR, IR, and 3D structured light to avoid obstacles. Its sensors are adept at finding larger objects, like HVAC vents, and furniture. However, they struggle with smaller objects like cables and rags that are small, which could cause the robot to miss areas.

The M12's built-in inclinometer enables it to recognize and navigate stairs. It also has the ability to automatically return to its OMNI Station to dry and wash mop brushes and to refill its water tank. If the batteries are depleted, the OMNI Station can even clean itself and empty the trash bin when its batteries are empty.

3. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra

The Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra is the most cutting-edge robot cleaning, packing a staggering amount of features into an elegant package. It has the highest mopping capacity, a camera for enhanced obstacles to avoid, and a powerful vacuum with the ability to detect when it's sweeping over carpets. It also has advanced intelligence and voice assistant features.

It is an extremely powerful mop and vacuum cleaner. It completed our 1,500 square feet test area within 101 minutes, and then the battery died and it returned to its dock. Its mop cleans itself between use, which reduces the cost of maintenance and keeps its pads clean. A dock sensor is able to detect when a mop pad becomes dirty and initiates the wash cycle.

Like its predecessors, the S8 MaxV Ultra features an intelligent system that recognizes household objects like pet waste and shoes using cameras and LIDAR combo. It performed well during our obstacle avoidance test with only one glitch (it got stuck when unwinding a ball that was tangled around its brush arm).

The S8 MaxV Ultra boasts a new 10,000pa suction power, which is more than double its predecessor. This makes it a great choice for homes that have lots of carpet and a variety of flooring kinds. The vacuum can be set to automatically increase suction as it passes over dust or crumbs.

Similar to the previous models, multiple docking stations are able to be set up to automate the cleaning and mopping process. It can also be connected to the plumbing in your home with a specialized dock that drains and refills the tank automatically after you've finished.

4. Dreametech X40 Ultra

The Dreame X40 Ultra is the most recent model of the model of the top robot mop and vacuum cleaner from Dreame, and it offers some features that Dreame's less expensive models lack. It is a powerful suction system and can mop floors with ease. The mop pads are cleaned with hot water and drained, and the water tank that is contaminated is automatically cleaned after every cleaning session.

It offers advanced options for customising the cleaning schedule, such as selecting a time to start and end each cycle, or deciding if it should clean carpets prior to mopping. My Source can be programmed to re-clean dirty areas and to increase its suction around cat litter and pet food bowls. The X40 Ultra is programmable to accomplish specific tasks, like cleaning a bathroom toilet or kitchen sink. It can be programmed to automatically raise the front side brush when it detects wet spots, and remove debris from the edges and baseboards.

The X40 Ultra has a simple user interface that offers a variety of features. It is simple to use and set up. It is quieter than many corded vacuums, and has only the occasional low hum of its motor and bursts of suction when cleaning. The navigation system is quite impressive, as it uses a camera, 3D structured light and multiple lasers to locate and avoid obstacles, and this makes the X40 Ultra achieve one of the top scores for obstacle avoidance in our evaluations.

5. Eufy S1 Pro

The Eufy S1 Pro has been designed to be an extremely powerful vacuum and mop combo that is also user-friendly. The gunmetal base station fills up its own tank with clean water, empties the dustbin into a smaller container, and ishes and drys its own mop pads in between cleaning sessions. It is equipped with advanced features that let it switch between carpets and hard surfaces, and eliminate pet hair from carpets and clean high-level thresholds in rooms.

The S1 Pro's navigation and mapping capabilities are excellent, with the internal dToF LiDAR system allowing it to maintain an unobtrusive appearance while providing top-quality objects avoidance. It can be driven close to walls without crashing, and avoiding steps, and it also raises its mop automatically when driving over rugs or carpets with a short pile. It had a difficult time when it encountered longer-pile carpets, and there were a few large, thick piles of dried-on debris.

Like many robots like it, the S1 Pro comes ready to take off from the box and needs only the initial mapping run to get it used to your home. The map will be displayed in the app, and you can add or join rooms as you need to. You can also set up virtual boundaries, no-go zones and no-mop zones if you don't want the robot to get into certain items.

The S1 Pro does a great job of cleaning up spills from hard floors due to its rotating mop head that puts 2.2lbs (1kg) of downward pressure on the floor. Its ability to vacuum and mop makes it a good choice for homes with both types of flooring however, its reliance on a Eufy brand cleaning solution (which is included in the box) can make it less flexible than some other robots that allow you to add your own solutions.
