It can drive up to walls and avoid steps without falling. It also raises the mop when driving on rugs or short-pile carpets. However, it struggled with carpets with a longer pile and also large, thick messes of dried-on debris.

Like most robots, the S1 Pro comes ready to come out of the box and only requires the initial mapping run to learn its way around your home. The map will then be displayed in the app, and you can add or join rooms as needed. You can also set up virtual boundaries such as no-mop zones, no-go zones, and no-go zones if you don't want the robot to get into certain items.
The S1 Pro does a great job of removing messes from hard floors, thanks to its rotating mop head that puts 2.2lbs (1kg) of downward pressure on the floor. Its ability to both vacuum and mop makes it a great choice for homes that have both types of flooring. However, its dependence on Eufy cleaning products (which are included in the box), can make it less versatile than other robots that allow you to add your own cleaning products.
