The Joie Roomie Glide is a bedside crib that allows parents to co-sleep with their newborn whilst ensuring they're sleeping safely. The smooth glide motion helps to ease your baby back into sleep and its innovative features ensure that you can keep an eye on them without leaving your own bed.

The sliding side panel of the crib can be raised and lowered by a simple press of a button. This makes it simple to reach inside and soothe a baby in the night. It also comes with 11 height adjustments that allow it to accommodate the mattress of nearly every size bed. Additionally, it includes adjustable folding feet to ensure that it is at the right height.

The cot is padded, has mesh sides to increase ventilation, and its mattress is made of high-density foam for extra protection. It's also washable to keep it clean. Additionally, it comes with a fitted sheet that's suitable for the cot.


Unlike some other bedside cribs, the Roomie Glide is suitable for the majority of beds, including divans thanks to its straps and clip attachment. It can also be used as a standalone crib even when it's not connected to the bed. It comes with a variety of wonderful features designed with parent and baby bonding in mind.

The most important thing to keep in mind is that although this crib is great for infants, it will not last long after your child is six months old, and you'll require an additional cot. Overall, Roanna thought that the Joie Roomie Glide crib was an excellent buy. She liked its sleek design.

The Roomie Glide is available to purchase at John Lewis for PS160, which Roanna considered to be an affordable cost for a cot that has the most advanced features. She liked the way it looked in her bedroom, and thought the grey color would work in most modern homes. She did mention that it's not a good idea to rock a baby when it's younger as it can cause an unfavourable sleep pattern for later.

The Tutti Bambini CoZee

The Tutti Bambini CoZee is an award-winning crib for bed designed with a safe night's sleep in mind. It has an adjustable side rail that can be easily adjusted to feed your child at night without disturbing them or getting out of bed. This is perfect for mothers who breastfeed! It's also light and easy to move around during naps or when traveling.

We love that it's constructed of soft fabrics with mesh sides that breathe, which aids in airflow and ease of use. It's available in oak and charcoal and has a variety of melange fabrics that blend well with most decor styles. Anna found it to be sturdy and secure once attached to her bed. The legs slid into place and the zippers were secured to ensure security. It took her about 10 minutes to assemble it and did not require tools, and comes with clear instructions and a video or customer support contact number should you encounter any problems.

The CoZee crib is equipped with all the features you'd expect from a crib for your bedside, including the ability to attach it to your existing bed using a stay-in place connection system. It also has six height settings. Additionally it has an incline feature that can be used to help babies suffering from reflux or congestion. It can also be washed in the machine - a must for all the dribbles and vomit that can be found in a newborn baby!

If you want to keep your baby close during the first six months when they're learning to sleep independently, the CoZee is a great option because it can be used as a stand-alone cot, changing table and toddler bed. It can even be converted into a sofa bed by the addition of an extension pack. Although it can't magically make your baby sleep or feed them, it can rock the baby and take them to school.

The Chicco Next2Me Magic

This is one of Chicco's more expensive options, however it comes with a lot of features. It can be used as either a side-sleeper or a standalone crib that is suitable for infants ranging from birth to six months. It is easy to open and close the side panel thanks to a new mechanism. It is also more adjustable than its predecessor, having 11 different height settings as well as retractable legs for a secure place under any bed.

Our testers appreciated the ease of access provided by the side panel, that can be moved up and down with one push of a switch. This was a huge help during night time feeds, as it meant they could reach into and take their baby away without waking them up.

The side panel can be removed on its own however, it's not recommended since it increases the risk of your baby falling out of the cot. However, the patented safety locking mechanism guarantees that it will only stay down when attached to the bed of the parent correctly. This is a great feature to have for peace of mind, especially when you're breastfeeding and need frequent feedings at night.

The Chicco Next2Me Magic is designed to be compatible with any bed, including divan bases and beds with drawers due to the legs that can be telescopic. It has a tilting feature for babies with reflux, as well as a rocking function to help calm them after eating. It's also very spacious and provides excellent ventilation due to its mesh sides.

The Shnuggle Air crib is designed to breathe, which is different from other models. Its dual-view mesh side panels and breathable, hypo-allergenic airflow mattress increase airflow to keep your baby cool and comfortable. A gentle incline helps to ease colic and reflux while the zip down side makes it easy to feed or soothe your baby at night.

The cot conversion kit (sold separately) is also well-designed, with clear directions and everything you require to start. It took us around an hour to put together and was relatively simple. The only issue with the instructions was that a few images did not have captions. This made it difficult to follow. Overall, the procedure was easy and the materials used were of top quality.

The Shnuggle Air is a great option for women who are breastfeeding or have had C-sections. It lets them reach out and touch their baby to comfort them and feeding without having to leave their bed. It's great for parents who do not want to go through the stress of putting their child in a traditional cot, or getting them out of it.

The gliding motion was discovered to be very helpful in lulling babies into sleep after feedings at midday or night. The drop-down side can also be accessible to feed or soothe babies during the middle of the night and was a major draw for our exhausted test mothers. Although it doesn't rock or have extra features, like an audio system, the Joie Roomie Slide's sleek design and functional features make it a great addition to our top bedside crib reviews.
