The Pre-licensing course can be taken either in a classroom setting or through distance learning/virtual classes. If you opt to opt for the classroom option you will receive an MV-278 Pre-licensing Certificate of Completion. All courses have the same curriculum, regardless of which version you choose to take. When you have successfully completed your course, the company will notify the DMV automatically, and you don't require the certificate at the time of taking the driver's test.
