It can also be used as a stand-alone crib even when it's not connected to the bed. It has many incredible features that were designed with the idea of parent-child bonding in mind.
One thing to bear in mind is that while this crib is great for infants, it will not last long once your baby turns six months old, which means you will require a bigger cot. But, in general Roanna felt that the Joie Roomie Glide was a excellent purchase and she was particularly impressed by its sleek design.
The Roomie Glide is available to purchase at John Lewis for PS160, which Roanna considered to be an affordable price for a cot featuring these innovative features. She also liked the way it was positioned in the bedroom and believed that the grey shade is a good fit for modern homes. She also mentioned that it's not a good idea to rock a baby when it's younger as it could create an unfavourable sleep pattern for later.
The Tutti Bambini CoZee
The Tutti Bambini CoZee bedside crib is designed to provide a good night's rest. It has a drop side rail which can be easily removed for feedings at night without having to disturb your baby or get out of bed - it's ideal for mothers who are breastfeeding! It's also lightweight and easy to move around during nap time or for travel.
We love that it's made of soft fabrics with mesh sides that are breathable, which promote airflow and comfort. It's available in charcoal and oak and comes with a variety of melange fabrics that blend well with most decor styles. Anna found that it was solid and secure when it was attached to her bed. The legs clicked into place and the zippers were secured for security. It took her about 10 minutes to assemble it and didn't require any tools, with clear instructions and a video or customer support contact number should you have any issues.

It can also be transformed into a sofa bed with the addition of an extension pack. While it won't magically make your baby sleep or feed them, it will rock the baby and take them to school.
The Chicco Next2Me Magic
This is one of the more expensive alternatives. However, it comes with a lot of amazing features.
bedside cot mattress 's designed as a side sleeper or a standalone crib and is suitable for babies up to six months. It's easy to open and close the side panel using the new mechanism. It's also more adjustable than its predecessor with 11 different height levels and retractable feet for a secure installation under any bed.
Our testers loved the ease of access to the side panel, which can be lowered and raised by pressing a button. This was especially helpful in the evening when feeding time was over, since they could reach in and pick their baby up without waking them.
It is possible to lower the side panel by itself but this is not advised, as it increases the risk that your baby will fall out of the cot. But, the patented safety locking mechanism means that it will only remain in place if it is connected to the parent's bed correctly. This is a wonderful feature to have for peace mind, particularly in the case of breastfeeding and frequent feedings at night.
Telescopic legs permit the Chicco Next2Me Magic to be used with any bed, such as divan bases and beds with drawers. It also comes with a tilting function for babies with reflux and a rocking mode that can soothe them back to sleep after eating. It's also very large and has great ventilation due to its mesh sides.
The Next2Me Magic was easy to use and set up for our test subjects, despite the lengthy instruction manual. It is a little heavier than other side-sleepers, however, it is easily moved from one area to another. It's small enough to fit in a travel bag when not in use which is an advantage if you need to transport it. The only negative our testers have found is that the side panel did not stretch as much as other models. This made it a little harder to see the baby from your bed.

bedside rocking crib helps alleviate colic and reflux. The zip-down side allows you to feed your baby, or even comfort them at night.
The cot conversion kit (sold separately) is also well-designed, with clear directions and everything you require to begin. It took us an hour to put together and was fairly straightforward. The only drawback to the instructions was that some images did not have captions. This made it difficult for us to follow the instructions. However, it was an easy process and the quality of materials used was high.
In the co-sleeping position, we found the Shnuggle Air to be an excellent choice for breastfeeding mums and women who have had a C-section, since it allows them to comfortably reach out to their baby for comfort and feeding without having to get up from their own bed. It's ideal for parents who don't want to deal with the burden of putting their infant in a traditional cot, or even getting them out of it.
The gliding motion was discovered to be very helpful in lulling babies into sleep after feedings at midday or night. The drop-down sides make it easy to feed or soothe babies during the night. This was a major selling point for our tired test moms. Although it doesn't rock or have additional features such as an audio system, the Joie Roomie Slide's sleek design and functionality are a welcome addition to our best bedside crib reviews.
