What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?

The item upgrader is an additional widget at the top of both the Angel and Cash Upgrade Windows. The Manager is priced at 33 billion Angel Investors, and has no other benefit to the game, aside from making it easier to purchase upgrades.

When an item is improved, its base type will change. When upgrading a normal item, it will result in an item that is Exceptional, while upgrading an Exceptional item will result in an Elite version of the base item. The item will be able to keep its previous upgrade stats, but will receive an additional bonus from its new base type. This bonus is randomly chosen. It could be a weapon that has a greater damage range, an improved speed of reloading, or an increased max defense roll.

The number of upgrades you perform will determine the amount of extras you receive. Each upgrade will increase the corresponding extras by an increment of 1 up to a maximum of 3. Additionally, each upgrade will also increase the stat that is used to determine the main one by 1.

Certain upgrades also give a secondary random boost in addition to stat enhancements. These boosts can be important and should be considered when deciding on which items to upgrade. Certain boosts can only be used in certain builds (such the Whistan's Shield, which is for FB Sorcs) Some are useful to collectors.

Certain items come with a built-in boos that is not beneficial when upgraded. For instance the Goldwrap provides extra potion slots. They are often upgraded to add more value to a near-perfect or perfect item.

Costs


There are a few expenses associated with item upgrades. The first is the cost to perform the upgrade. The cost for this upgrade can be costly and depends on the new ilvl of the item and the number perks it gains. Upgrades to a higher level (such as Explorer to Champion or Veteran to Heroic) can be costly.

The other is the cost of the materials needed for an upgrade. The items used for upgrades are usually either Power Dices (dropped by monsters 21+) or Minerals and Erons (obtainable by completing specific Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor quests). These materials can be found in the inventory of an Upgrade Vendor.

The process of upgrading an item is a complex process that takes time. Depending on the size of the upgrade, it can take up to 8 hours. The stats that are the base of the upgraded item are calculated based on its new ilvl as well as other properties. This calculation determines new Armor Class bonuses, damage dice, and other vital statistics. In some cases an upgrade may grant additional perks. These perks are listed on a list.

In rare cases the upgrade will only replace the highest-costing bonuses. Occasionally, the upgrader will make other modifications to an item, like changing the type of weapon damage or or removing an operative or unwieldy property. These changes are based on an item's ilvl and may require special materials, like adamantine.

Success Rate

The upgrading of an item is based on the chance. Like Cases gg , there is a possibility that it will not succeed. There are a few ways to increase your chances of success. These include the use of an item dubbed an Upgrade Pity, or the addition of extra components to the upgrade.

An Upgrade Pity is an item you can buy from the smithing NPC in Lost Ark. It increases the chances of an upgrade being successful by a certain percentage. It is similar to the luck bonus some items have however it is more stable. This can be added to any weapons or armor and can be used three times.

You can also add other materials to the upgrade to increase the chances of success. These materials are displayed in a separate window above the + button. There are however limitations to this, and the highest amount of material that can be added is shown directly above the + button in the user interface.

Another way to increase the chance of an upgrade achieving success is to use an item known as a Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version of it. This item can be useful if your weapon or piece is nearing or has reached the top level of its level. It will allow you to upgrade the equipment to the next level without having to worry about breaking.

If an upgrade fails the upgrade will be reversed to its initial state. This is typically a downgrade, but could also be an upgrade. It is recommended to save an upgrade for when you're close to the maximum level of an item, and to use it as a last resort.
