Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be added to weapons, armors trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons. They provide an extra bonus or effect while the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors or other players, looted, obtained as an incentive, or even created using crafting materials. Alongside providing bonus attributes Upgrade items also have cosmetic effects.
item upgrading include inscriptions, enhancements, and infusions. They are not generally available for general use and are only available on equipment that is ascended or certain weapons that aren't ascended from the Factions Campaign. Infusions can be recovered, inscriptions and enrichments from your equipment using an Extractor Device or by salvaging them using the Black Lion Salvage Kit, or Ascended Salvage Tool.
Like other upgrade products Phoenix Boxes are able to be traded even while still attached to the item they are upgrading. They can be re-used after being reclaimed. These upgrade items can be used to boost weapon and armor quality without spending Dilithium. They can increase the chances that the item will receive a quality upgrade.
Upgrade components can be added to an item, however, the original one is destroyed (except for legendaries and Ascended equipment). Upgrade components are only available to upgraded items with an identification level of zero or more. When you upgrade an item that is already equipped with a prefix or suffix upgrade will display the name of the resulting item in the same way as it appears in the game (for instance adding a Radiant Insignia to Canthan Armor will cause it to be referred to as Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). A player can own up to 3 upgrade items at once.
Glyphs
Glyphs can be a valuable accessory to any item because they offer a variety of unique benefits and boosts. Certain glyphs increase the number of affixes that an item has, which increases its effectiveness. These glyphs can be obtained by completing dungeons. Some are even found in specific World Tier 3 zones. It's important to keep in mind that glyphs cannot be used on a character who has not created an area of root dungeons of the same size.
To make use of a Glyph, you must first create it using components and connect them using anchors. Then the component will automatically align itself to other components and paths within the same layer. If you don't want build the glyph from components, you can create it by combining paths and anchors. Drag an element in the direction of an element highlighted to hold it into its place.
Certain glyphs require specific conditions to be fulfilled like 25 Dexterity in a particular area on the Paragon Board. Some also require a certain number of Primary Stat nodes to be activated and can be a challenge to attain. Some glyphs have a radius that increases as you level it up.
Glyphs are used for various items, and are added to all weapons, with the exception for the weapons of a particular class.
item upgrading come with additional requirements, for example an amount of Dexterity damage, or attack damage in a particular area of the Paragon board.
The Defend Glyph increases the chance of blocking enemy attacks by 5percent. It also has an opportunity of 15% to make the Hero vulnerable for two turns.
There are also a few glyphs that could be applied to tools with limited-use capabilities like the Black Lion Chest or Trading Post. These glyphs contribute to the Combat Mechanic Achievement.
The most popular glyphs used in the game are the attack ones which boost Artifacts' ATK substats by a fixed amount. They are especially useful for ranged classes such as Warriors and Rogues. The Exploit Glyph can make enemies who attack the Hero vulnerable to damaging effects.
Reroll tokens

Reroll tokens are used to reroll results that are rolled during an Action. They are removed after the reroll has occurred. Reroll tokens can be obtained in many ways, such as through raids and dungeons or through participating in skirmishes. They can also be purchased in the store or from other players. They are especially useful in dungeons and trials, since they allow players to reroll rewards at the end of the chest.
The values for recycling points are provided for items at the level 1. The upgrade gauge will grow by a specific amount of points when you recycle an item. This number is determined by the rarity of the item and its level. Additionally the upgraded item won't keep its level after rerolling, and the cost for recycling an upgraded item increases depending on its level.
Another option is to make use of reroll tokens to reroll an upgrade item, but this will not bring the item back to its original condition or provide the original statistics. This is useful for players who want to reroll an item or piece of equipment they don't love but want to keep in their collection.
Three different kinds of upgrade coins are available in the game: reroll, randomly generated, and upgrade. Each type comes with several subtypes. For example, reroll tokens are available in three levels: rare, enhanced and legendary. Each requires a product of the respective level to produce the new item with that quality.
To use rerolling tokens, select "Reroll Token" by right-clicking the Satanic or Angelic items in your inventory. Then, select a kind of token. The tokens that are available are Item Weapons, Misc, 1hguns, 2hguns, and Focus. Using an Item token will produce an entirely new Item of any quality. A Weapon or Misc token produces a new weapon from the same faction.
There is also a chance that the item could be upgraded to a new item with more level and same stats. This is likely to happen if the item is in the Pool that cannot be dropped or has been transferred to it as part of the Franchise Card.
