Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can sometimes increase the performance of a piece of equipment and, sometimes, even add extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the number of random augmentations used.
The elite racial Shield Razortail for instance, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption function in PvP or provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more tradable than the perfect non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens let you buy a new item, such as an armor, weapon or ring. The item is replaced with an identical item however with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable option to upgrade equipment. They don't maintain the original level of the item and any wasted resources won't get compensated.
The survivors can acquire reroll tokens via a variety of methods, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates or purchased at the local store for 150k each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attribute of a piece equipment such as increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can roll equipment with three attributes, physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage of melee and weapons attack and spell power upgrade mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades give the player an additional level of health.
There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a higher quality and requires a higher-quality reroll token order to create it. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, while rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
The marker that rerolls, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action areas, stays on the spot until the next Success is rerolled. This allows you to prevent the waste of upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Stage, and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they show a description and icon for the Ingredient or Appliance.
upgrade item can be exchanged to purchase a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of coins.
This means that blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls, and also those that are in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that boost the level of an item by improving its stats or characteristics. These items can be obtained by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. They can also be obtained by players who complete daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment players must first locate the appropriate item and then click the "level up" button. The menu will be displayed showing the item's current level and what it will be when being upgraded and the required amount of Growth Stones to do so. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor requires only one Growth Stone.
After deciding on what to upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. After the player has met the requirements, he can select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level by a specific percentage. The process of upgrading can last anywhere from seconds to several minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process also is risk-free, and does not affect the item's longevity. This is an excellent option for players who wish to get an edge in battle, but don't want to strain their wallets. By clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded piece of gear onto an entirely new piece of equipment.
The process of obtaining Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be daunting for new players. There are several ways to obtain them. You can sign contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, get them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or find them in reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. In addition players can also cut down higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an optional feature that lets players boost the base stats of weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. It is accomplished by the combination of an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade materials will be consumed and the item will gain a higher level. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item has been reached.
Items with upgraded stats will have a blue icon beside their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be added to more than one item at the same time. Each upgrade component will require a certain number of items, as well as a minimum level of equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add items to be upgraded. On the right side, previews show what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after is a player has enough resources will start the upgrading process.
A piece of gear can be upgraded up to five times. Each upgrade, the base stats of an item will be increased by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.
Once an item reaches its maximum level and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option of upgrading. Likewise, once an item reaches the level of a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that is able to be inserted into armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets in order to provide an extra effect or attribute benefit while the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained by completing quests or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs which can be removed and replaced freely.
Requirements
Upgrades to items give players the ability to boost certain stats on weapons and armor that they currently own. The requirements to upgrade an item vary depending on its type however, you'll usually require Dilithium as well as a number Upgrade Tokens.
The items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to weapons and equipment. This gives them additional effects or an increase in level of the item. The upgrades can be acquired from a variety of sources within the game, including crafting, purchased at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses or raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been inserted into an object, it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.
Upgrades can increase the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can increase the stats of an item.
For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" increases base defense, and provides an additional 20% chance to block. In addition the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.
Upgrades can be beneficial to some items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable to players when they achieve an exact roll. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.
If you choose an upgrade component to be inserted into an item, the game will display a pop-up window that shows the necessary requirements. These include the type of item (either weapon or armor) and the tier of the item, the upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
If you've fulfilled the conditions for upgrading The game will then place the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will change to indicate how close to completing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by going to any
item upgrader NPC.
