World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades boost the value of certain numeric stats on armor, weapons and rings. They also increase bonuses, such as damage from PvE and crit chance.

If the weapon's upgrade template is in %, the weapon will be able to gain an additional 3% of the previous damage every time it is upgraded.

The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the item's level. The cost increases as the item's level increases.

Components

Upgrade components can be incorporated into weapons, armor and trinkets to give them a stat boost or to add an additional effect. These can be obtained through crafting, buying from vendors trading or looting. Some upgrades can also be accompanied by special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be inserted into any equipment that has a slot to accommodate them; the item must be at least upgraded to the blue level for a component to be used. Upgrade components, unlike other modifications, can only be applied only once. They cannot be replaced or applied several times. Infusions and enrichments are a particular kind of upgrade component that is used to upgrade non-amulet ascended or legendary equipment, as well as some of the items that are not ascending back. Infusions and enrichments can be retrieved by salvaging ascended gear or completing an elite task in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.

An upgrade can include a suffix or prefix that alters the name of the equipment to which it is used (for examplethe 'Canthan Armor Insignia" becomes Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades can increase the Mark Rarity or Level of an item, which lets players to create stronger versions using the smallest amount of Upgrade crystals than they would need to reach the same level using standard methods.

A 'boost' upgrade can alter the attack or defence characteristics of an armored weapon or. After the player has completed the cutscene and defeated Crazed Mechanist These upgrades can be crafted at the Portative Forging Station. They can be dropped by enemies when upgrading other gear or purchasing them from the cash shop for 500 upgrade crystals.

The player is able to have up to five boost upgrades at a time. Each upgrade increases the chance that a better-quality version of the item will be available during the next reset. This gives the player an incentive to continue improving their equipment even if they're uncertain of the extent to which it will improve following a subsequent reset.

The process of upgrading an item could be expensive and it's possible that the item will eventually become obsolete or even break in the event that the upgrade fails. Upgrade Crystals and assist powder are also destroyed when an upgrade fails. This is alleviated by the availability cash shop items to double or even eliminate chance of failure, and some upgrades that provide the benefit of being reinserted into an item.

Glyphs

Glyphs are upgrade parts that can be placed in special sockets on the Paragon Board. Glyphs can boost the performance of nodes within a radius, including any existing affixes. Glyphs can be upgraded in numerous ways. We recommend upgrading them as fast as possible to level 15.

In the final game you'll find that the best way to enhance your gear is by placing Glyphs. They are the only upgrade components that can be upgraded straight to level 15, and they provide significant boosts to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to get higher nodes more quickly.

Glyphs, which is the only upgrade component which can be removed without restriction and then replaced with no restrictions are the most popular. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and re-placed by using the aid of a Black Lion Salvage Kit.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you choose it in your inventory. You can replace it with an Glyph that is the same or higher rank to boost the value of the Glyph.

Glyphs are available in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of a Gem Store bundle or purchase, with certain unlimited-use tools, and during Faction Crypt Raids. Every Faction Crypt has a chance to drop one of the numerous Glyphs, and there are also a few rare Glyphs that can be found as drops from any of the four Faction Crypts.

Once you have gotten the desired Glyphs you'll need them to be placed on your gear. Each Glyph unlocks a bonus that will boost a specific set of stat nodes in a radius surrounding the Glyph. Based on the Glyph it could be +40 to one of your primary stats or +25 to two of your secondary stats.

Glyphs will boost all nodes connected to them, which is why it is recommended to place Glyphs in the most important places on the Graph. This will maximize the impact. Druids, for example should put their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes. They may also want to consider placing them near their primary damage nodes.

Leveling

The upgrade system of items allows players to increase the effectiveness of certain items by inserting upgraded components. This is also known as "upping". Every upgradeable item is assigned a level which determines the final stats. Upgraded items can be leveled to a maximum of ilvl 385. Each item level requires a different number of components to be reached and the cost of upgrading increase as the item is advanced in level.

Certain upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient can be obtained by completing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes are available in the upgrade tab of a crafting table or bought from NPCs. Each Upgrade Recipe completed results in a certain amount of Technology points. These points can be used to level up the item, and once enough points have been earned, the upgrade can be claimed and the additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When the player upgrades an item to a higher level, the original item is replaced with a different item of the same kind. This means that the same armor piece will get a weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item also comes with its own set of bonuses. This could be a drawback in that it could make the item more expensive, even if you don't need it.

If the player has enough tokens they can reroll item upgrade s. The item will be replaced by an entirely new item that is based on a level 1 base and totally different bonuses. This is a good idea however it should not be repeated often since it can waste resources.

Certain upgrades can be rerolled multiple times, increasing their value and allowing the player to customize their equipment. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, as it gives buffs when the player is repeatedly in or leaves the water. It is possible to upgrade it several times, each time increasing the max roll by 10 points. This item is very useful in PvP. A perfectly rolled version could be worth up to 50x the value of a unupgraded counterpart.

Requirements

The item upgrader lets players increase the level of their equipment (armor weapons, weapons trinkets, and armor) beyond ilvl385 by handing over the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades to armor set pieces increase its base defense and upgrades to weapon items increase the damage they deal and also increase their strength and dexterity.

Each item can be upgraded up to five times, except for hero equipment, which can be upgraded eight times. Every time you upgrade an item, it has an opportunity to fail. The failure rate increases the more you exceed the maximum number of upgrades. Failures can result in the item returning to its initial state which means that the player has to purchase more materials than if they had stopped upgrading after the maximum number.

If an item does not upgrade the amount of experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. The item also loses any bonuses it earned, such as chances to be crit attack damage, other effects (such as a higher healing rate over time or reloading speed). However, the player may still continue to use the weapon or armor following the failure.

If an item is upgraded the upgrades are applied in order from the lowest to the highest. This means that if a weapon gains an increase in crit chance it will be applied prior to any increase in attack damage. Slots is a brand new attribute that was added to the definitions of items. The value is calculated every time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources required to upgrade an item is dependent on its rarity score and upgrade slot count. The upgrade cost for non-premium items is equal to the base value of the upgrade. For instance, a typical equipment item could have five upgrades, each costing 25,600 Technology Points and 4x Quality Improvement Chance--whereas hero quality items will have an incredibly lower cost for each additional upgrade.

Premium items have different requirements for upgrading as compared to standard equipment, for instance, they may require fewer sowels but more minerals and erons. Whatever the case, players will have to visit the NPC [ArmorBoboko in Central Flarine. Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they want to upgrade. In addition to the upgrade costs listed above, each upgrade will require an individual amount of ingredients needed to upgrade.
