Maryland Lottery and Gaming released information on the financial performance of its six casinos in the state in February 2024. Revenue remained somewhat stable, according to regulators.

Authorities said the six casinos reported total gaming revenue of $159.22 million for February. The figure represents a slight 1.4% year-over-year increase from February 2023, when casinos reported $157 million in revenue.

However, fiscal year-over-year earnings, representing the July-February period, fell slightly. Maryland's casinos reported $1.37 billion in revenue year-to-date but now $1.28 billion.

In February 2024, The Free State's casino donated $67.79 million to the state, up 1.3% year-over-year. The donation to the Education Trust Fund was $48.9 million, up 0.5% from February 2023. The casino also donated money to small, minority, and female-owned businesses as well as the local horse racing industry.

Maryland Lottery and Gaming also released data on the performance of six commercial casinos.

MGM National Harbor, headquartered in Prince George County, reported earnings of $66.83 million in February. This is an increase of $1,234,645 or 1.9 percent from February 2023. Casino Sports features 2,276 slots and 207 game tables.

Live! Casino & Hotel recorded $59.34 million in revenue, up 6.5% from February 2023. The venue is located in Anne Arundel County and has approximately 3,860 slot machines and 179 table games.

On the other hand, the Horseshoe Casino in the city of Baltimore reported February sales of $14.95 million, down 8.2% from a year earlier. The casino has 1,371 slots and 115 table games.

Hollywood Casino Ferryville, a property boasting 689 slot machines and 23 table games, posted $7.4 million in revenue in February, a 1.4% year-over-year increase.
