Total gaming revenue (GGR) at Travelers International Hotel Group, owner and operator of the Newport World Resort Casino Complex (pictured) in Manila, Philippine capital, rose 7% to 34.2 billion PHP (US$650 million)

The information is available in a filing with the Philippine Stock Exchange on Tuesday by parent company Alliance Global Group.

"Net sales in 2023 rose 19% year-over-year to 31.9 billion PHP, breaking a new record," Travelers International said.

"This resulted in a 40% year-over-year increase in hotel and other sales to 7.4 billion PHP due to the resurgence of tourism and conferences, incentives, conferences, and exhibition (MICE) activities," the company added.

Despite rising costs throughout 2023, Travelers International's earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) rose 8% year-over-year to 8.2 billion PHP. Those results were "the highest level since 2012," according to a filing on Tuesday.

Travelers International's net profit was about 2 billion PHP, "up 89% year-over-year," the parent company said.

Newport World Resort currently has five international hotel brands: Marriott Manila Hotel, Sheraton Manila Hotel, Hilton Manila, Hotel Okura Manila, and Holiday in Express Manila. 홀짜게임

In June last year, Alliance Global said it would "explore new locations" to expand its integrated resort business. "However, no firm plans have been set for when these expansion plans will be implemented," Alliance Global said at the time.
