The distribution of "smart table" products, which combine radio frequency identification (RFID) technology with cameras that collect data for analysis through artificial intelligence (AI), can provide casino operators with more "flexibility" and "improve the efficiency" of game operations, Angel Macao Ltd President Asuka Kurahashi, pictured, told GGRASia.

Angel Group is a familiar name for cards and card shoes in the casino equipment supply market. Angel Group provides a modular approach to smart table service based on the casino company's operational requirements and budgets, as well as the protocols of relevant gaming regulators.

Mr. Kurahashi said Angel's smart tables do not interfere or slow down the normal operation of live table games.

"Adopting RFID smart tables can increase the efficiency of game operations, and we don't want to change the dealer's SOP [standard operating procedure] or even the table layout. Our system is collecting all the data while dealers are processing the game in a normal way," said Angel Macau, president of the company.

AI allows operators to embrace operational changes such as new side betting options in an efficient manner, she added.

The AI-RFID hybrid approach means Angel can offer workers "flexibility" in terms of table layout design. "When changes are needed, simply adjust the software and camera (for AI capture capabilities) to adapt to the new layout," says Mr. Kurahashi.

Having two sets of cameras means you can 'compensate' and 'remove' blind spots when working together on every point-in-time angle in a table that can't be easily monitored by a single camera, the executive noted.

Macau authorities are encouraging the use of smart tables as a way for the Macau industry to more effectively manage casino operations.

Angel's smart tables, which have been improved over the decade, have been installed on certain properties of the Macau casino concessioner since 2019, Mr Kurahashi told GGRAsia. Angel declined to name the property, but said its smart table products "will be fully rolled out over the next few quarters" across several properties of the concessioner in question.

According to Mr. Kurahashi, the technology supplier's smart table product has also been distributed to casino operations in Singapore and Australia. The product will soon operate in the Philippines, but where possible through Angel's modular approach, the industry's requests in this market have so far been for AI data capabilities, not RFID. 바카라사이트 추천
